Draft at Taste the Rarity After a long afternoon of tasting, this was the last pour of the day for me, and had I had it earlier I would have camped out here as this tied Zombie Dust for best of the fest for me.....take that FWIW as I’m a sucker for the style. Pours a hazy pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is summer at the beach. Peaches, salt, floral. Lightly tart, lighly salty, really quenching and one that just was so pleasing I wanted more after every sip.

Poured from growler from Union. Hazy light golden color with very little head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is light musty tart apples. Flavor is tart apples, really light peach flavors. A little saltiness lingers through this beer. Finish is fruity tartness. I have not had a lot of this style but I really enjoyed this beer.

Maxbier (152) - Maryland, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Aroma is initially the familiar funk of a gose but then gives off some sour fruit too. Flavor is tart and sweet ( but not too sweet) with a sour slightly briney finish. Very nice sour.

MrChopin (3220) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 28, 2014
hazy gold, thin white ring, semi-tepid. Green apple skin nose, high acidity, sourkraut. Saltier lactic front palate, high acidity, low bitterness, burns as experience grows through salty mid, seawater in the spritzy finish, slick. Tone down acid, up salt and grain especially in flavor.

2oz sample at Bier Baron. Pours a totally clear, limey gold with some cloudy white head. Nose has some minerality, salinity, lime, lemon, mild grass. Flavor is the same, some brinyness, some lemon, salty, earthy, straw. Briny finish.

Light carbonated pour. Great sourness with intensity. A great addition to the Baltimore beer scene. Looking forward to getting more.

More like a Berliner Weisse than a Gose. A little sour with some salt. Pours very cloudy blonde. Not much head or lacing, a lot of yeast. Average carbonation. Tap at Meridian Pint.

Keg @ Meridian Pint. Hazy gold, tight eggshell white head. The nose is of salt, lime, brine. Apples. The taste is very tart, lactic sourness. Yogurt, white bread. Probably the most sour gose I’ve had. Ligt body, soft carbonation. OK.

Pale straw yellow and hazy. Aroma of salt, wheat and tartness. Flavor is a nice sour wheaty mixture. Quite refreshing, sourness is nicely intense. Highly carbonated.
