Half-pint draft for "Union Craft Tap Takeover" at Old Line Fine Wine, Spirits & Bistro in Beltsville, MD. Not the biggest fan, but I think thatís just because I donít really like the Gose style of beer, no matter how much I try to like it. Very sour, and tart, just a bit too much for my likings.

Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso. Poured a hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is tart lactic notes, some wheat, and a touch of sea breeze. Flavor was nice tart notes, salt ocean, with a light twist of lemon zest. Very enjoyable, tart but easy to drink. Girlfriend loved this one. I look forward to trying this one again.

MadRobin (2262) - Silver Spring, USA - AUG 19, 2014
On tap at Scion restaurant in Silver Spring, MD. Hazy, pastel yellow with slight green tinge, only a trivial hint of a head with fair lacing. Aroma of sour apple, wheat puffs, Rice Krispies, salt and light fruit. Taste of peaches, salt, apple, sour orange and Rice Krispies, Medium/full body and medium/low carbonization. A fine gose with obvious, but not overstated saltiness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Taste the Rarity After a long afternoon of tasting, this was the last pour of the day for me, and had I had it earlier I would have camped out here as this tied Zombie Dust for best of the fest for me.....take that FWIW as Iím a sucker for the style. Pours a hazy pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is summer at the beach. Peaches, salt, floral. Lightly tart, lighly salty, really quenching and one that just was so pleasing I wanted more after every sip.

Poured from growler from Union. Hazy light golden color with very little head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is light musty tart apples. Flavor is tart apples, really light peach flavors. A little saltiness lingers through this beer. Finish is fruity tartness. I have not had a lot of this style but I really enjoyed this beer.

Maxbier (601) - Maryland, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Aroma is initially the familiar funk of a gose but then gives off some sour fruit too. Flavor is tart and sweet ( but not too sweet) with a sour slightly briney finish. Very nice sour.
