3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at SoBo. Pours mostly clear dark amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is rye, cereal malts, light caramel, grassy and floral hops, and light pear. Flavor is dry malt base with grassy hops, hint of pine, ultimately having the rye dry everything out just leaving behind some light bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Gonna take Aarons lead on this one. Foxy Red i assume. Nice little tight tan head with fair retention and lacing. Clear, red/amber colored brew. Nice lil piney hop nose with some caramel malt backin it up. Body is medium with good carbonation and light resin notes. Little chewy. Decent, hoppy flavors of pine and citrus, little leafy and grainy with a fairly dry caramel maltiness. An almost dry finish with a healthy bite. Not bad really! Draft/growlered from statelineliquors.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Appearance: muddy orange, short off-white head. Aroma: hops up front, with grapefruit and apricot notes most prominent; thereís a bit of spicy rye malt too. Taste: bitter, resinous, citrusy hops, with a bit of caramel malt backbone. Finish: lingering bitter apricots. Notes: Meh. Watery palate, and could have used more rye spice in the flavor profile. On tap at the Ale House Columbia.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap at Meridian Pint. Pours a full haze, glowing bright orange. Webby lacing. Nose is orange peel, diacetyl. Taste is heavy diacetyl, soap, orange candies. Slick butter plus overpowering soap combine for something not so hot. Unfortunately, all of the beers on tap at MP tonight had a chemical flavor so Iím thinking their tap system may have a problem.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On Tap at Maxís. Look: Murky deep orange body, streaming carbonation, 1 finger white head. Smell: Citrus (oranges mild grapefruit), earthiness bread sweetness. Taste: Like the aroma, nice fresh citrus, pineapples and earthly notes that is backed by a firm malt backbone. Overall: This is one simple, and to the point IPA. I like how it isnít filtered so the fresh hop resins and malt sweetness can shine through. This is worthy.
