12 oz can at home from my Secret Santa, big thanks. no obvious BB date. almost black color, quite big coffee-colored head. smells earthy, licorice, some roast, lightly puke-ish, spices, OKish smell if it wasnt for the off-notes. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes quite sour, green apples, light roast, spices, licorice, earthy, lightly funky. finishes lightly sour with some unpleasant spices and some licorice. Beer gets rather unpleasant when warmer. This seems to have some issues (sourness), still some what drinkable at first, but gets unpleasant when warm.

Standard oatmeal stout aroma, pours very dark. Strong taste of oatmeal and hops. Some chocolate and nutty flavor and aroma, but very easy to drink. Very full mouth taste. Excellent stout. Can.

Totally black with a small tan head and light lacing. Pungent, roasted malt aroma along side milk chocolate and coffee. Initial taste of bittersweet chocolate evolves with notes of caramel, dark fruit and a bit of smoke. Floral hops more evident in the aftertaste. Full bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel with a long lasting finish.

Bomber poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, dried fruit, bakers cocoa, graininess and earthiness. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bakers cocoa, earthiness and light coffee with a smooth lingering bakers cocoa finish.

can pour recently picked up..pours a solid black color with slight tan head..nose has got some definite chocolate...lactose profile..tobacco..mouthfeel is interesting with sort of a cross btwn a milk stout/oatmeal stout..this is fairly light bodied at first with the 8 percent lurking in the back..does provide a bit of warming alcohol presence as things linger..not as thick and chewy as anticipated but overall a decent offering..worth a try for sure
