On tap at Frisco Tap House. Dark brown pour with minimal tan head. Light coffee aroma with hint of malt. Taste is coffee, cocoa. Nice mouth-feel, nice slight bitter mocha finish. More coffee than your average coffee stout.

Half-pint draft for "Union Craft Tap Takeover" at Old Line Fine Wine, Spirits & Bistro in Beltsville, MD. One of the better ones served by Union Craft for sure. Pours into a half-pint glass, light black with a small brown head. Smells of coffee and chocolate (YUM). Tastes of chocolate and caramel with coffee predominance. Beer is medium bodied and good carbonation, goes down very easy for its potency. Overall a pretty good beer. More please!

Tap at Maxs. 4/27/14. 2012 vintage. Rusty beige head on top of a thick black body. Quite and excellent Stout. Malty, doughy, some really pleasant chocolate tones. Nails it. Really has aged well. Slight warming. Big and nice.

Draft at the brewery - thanks to my girlfriend. Poured a smooth black color with a HUGE brown head. Aroma was lots of roasted malts, dark chocolate, some light vanilla notes. Dried fruits, roasted malts, bitter chocolate and malt. A touch earthy. Pretty enjoyable, easy to drink, especially on a cold day.

Nice black pour with a tan head. Roasted malt dominates. Acrid and harsh. Not good.

Small, light brown head with a short retention but a lasting lace. black in color. Nose of roast, cocoa and earth. Body is medium with a bit much carbonation, little oily. Fairly dry for a Sweet Stout, roasty and smoky with some slight phenolic notes, hint of bandaids but not enough to get worked up over. Litttle bacon and burnt wiring. Fairly dry finish with some lacquer notes. Weird one.Growlered/draft from statelineliquors.
