Not much to say about this one, it’s redeeming feature is a rather bitter finish. The aroma is sweet from the grains. Yellow colour, white head that disappeared in an instance. Absolutely no lacing. (50 cl can)

I like the idea behind the Union Brewery: "It must be possible to brew local high quality products, as alternatives to the major national and international brands that dominate the market today." Yes it is, but unfortunately it seems that they rather aim to brew exactly the same as the brands they suggest. Namely, boring beer.
Golden body, a low white head. You’ve seen it before.
Mild aroma of malt, with even milder hop elements. You have smelled it before.
Grainy flavor with a real offtaste. You have tasted it before.
Unfortunately, the bitterness is almost totally absent, so the goal of copying the boring beers from the ’majors’ went wrong, there is still a way to go, Union.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 KnutAlbert (4377) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 29, 2011
Cardboard and wet blankets.fruit, paper and malt. Not recommended unless you really need Norwegian ticks!
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 tfredvik (293) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 27, 2011
A rather unattractive body on this one: extremely pale yellow with a tiny, fizzy head that disappears within seconds, but still it miraculously manages to produce some lacing. Clean hoppy pilsener aroma (as usual I have problems pin-pointing any other aromas in a pilsener than, well, that of a pilsener). Light sweet and light bitter taste, clean flavours. Light and watery, medium carbonation with a slight metallic feel. Close to decent pilsener, but oh so boring. I like the bottle, though.
