2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml Can from Spar supermarket, Ljubljana (€0.92):
Definitely not a classic radler by any stretch of the imagination & easily the worst of the three from Union that I’ve reviewed here now, the beer was quite terrible but it was miles away from the same brewery’s Grapefruit version. It was certainly drinkable but I’d have liked it to at least be a little more refreshing & for the artificial flavours to be less apparent.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can from gas pump. This radler at least retains some resemblance to beer but not good beer unfortunately. The lemon part is not exactly charming either. Average at best.

yellow colour, without aroma, really forgetable flavour and taste. Surly of the worstest radlers.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
500 ml can. Extremely pale yellow, crystal clear, with a nice, creamy and surprisingly persistent bright white head. Good lacing. The nose is, as expected, dominated by pretty much just freshly squeezed lemon juice. Slightly artificial/extract feeling. Mild wort smell in the background. If the smell wasn’t 100% offensive, the taste is seriously awful. Way too sweet, sugary, sticky, even the lemon presence seems covered by all that unpleasent sweetness. A couple of sips are enough, sadly. Soft to average carbonation, medium body, oily texture. Bleah.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, 0.50l. Cloudy straw color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of lemon and flowers. Tastes like sweet carbonated lemon juice with some malt and light bitter finish. Light body, sticky texture and lively carbonation in palate. Not bad, but beerless...

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can. Lemon acid and a sweetness that manages not to cross the border into cloying territory.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: APR 6, 2014 Pours a very pale yellow with a decent white fluffy head which immediately settles down.
A pleasant citrusy aroma dominates the nose.
The taste is sweet, artificial sugar, and also slightly citrusy.
Not the best thing in the world, but extremelly refreshing, when you don’t feel like having a real beer.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2014 Clear golden color, average white head. Light to medium body, soft to average carbonation. Light lemonade aroma. Light sweet taste. Texture is kinda oily, but it still leaves watery feeling. Forgettable.
