Draught at the brewpub, November 2012. Clear amber-brown, white head. Spicy aroma - clove and cinnamon. Spicy in the mouth as well: malt, citrus peel, a little black pepper. Smooth, a little sticky, light body, lemon-honey finish. Not rich and too light for a Christmas beer.

Clear medium amber orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light hoppy, light to moderate yeasty, candy, butter - fudge. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a long to average duration, spicy - herbs ?? tea - candy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120316]

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Orange with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, sugar and tea. Sweetish malty flavour with sugar and tea notes and strong alcohol in the finish

Bottle @ Ulfborg Session, Mid March 2012. Pours cloudy orange with a bubbly head. Vague butter and green herbs. Dammn. Cloying. A bit Thin. Nasty!

Hazy amber color; small head. Light aroma of caramel, cereals and vegetables. Correct mouthfeel, with some caramel flavor, a bit nutty and biscuity, with light residual sweetness. Very strong bitterness. Quite good.

from Drinks of the World, Bern - cloudy dark red-amber colour with a little beige foam left; the nose is gently spicy with notes of chewy malts and red fruits; a good malt body, some sweetness with a bitter tartness; fairly tasty, slightly dry spicy and gently fruity finish - pretty nice
