COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle (from bierzwerg.de, found in an old box). Amber/pale copper colour with a mediumsized off-white fluffy head. Aroma is roasted malts, some ashes, mild toffee, chocolate and slight syrupy notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some toffee, toasted malts, mild coffee and some slight ashy notes as well. Quite much bitterness in the finish. Not sure if this is along with the Reinheitsgebot due to the strong syrupy notes in it...

It’s dark amber/bronze with a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of caramel, caramel, caramel, fruit and malt, - and the caramel is very well balanced - nice!!!

Sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Toasty malt-character with notes of caramel, cacao, nuts and a tinge of molasses; quite dry toast-malty, hop- and burnt bitter finish. A solid Dunkel. 23.II.10

bottle. Brownish orange color. Malty caramel bouquet. Medium body, slightly sweet and very little bitterness. Fairly clean finish. Maybe a little different from what I expect from a dunkles, but lacks the complexity that I expect.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Quality beer with some malt, caramel and some hops in the background. Very drinkable and easy to go for a Dunkel. Beside this: Great colour which is nearly orange. Nice.
