Palme (3605) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 7, 2012
0.5l bottle @ local pub Monfalcone, Italy. A light hazy hefe-colored one with a big lasting fluffy hefe-head. Not extreme on the aroma, some clean wheaty tones, a little bit of banana and peppery yeast as well. It’s average to lively carbonated and it has a somewhat thin and almost watery texture. Flavors a bit watery, wheat is here also present and clean, it gives away quite a dry mouth after it’s down the throat. Well, not all that really, and I see the bottle is just about to expire as well. Still, after 9 hours and only carlsberg lager all day, it tasted quite alright with something else. 17.05.2012

bottle. gusher, made me dash for the kitchen sink and then backtrack my steps, cleaning the spots on the floor. cloudy orange, smooth small white head. mild wheat aroma, faint flowery peachy note (too faint). flavor is mild wheat, mild fruity note (peach). Very mild hefe, doesn’t taste bad, is well brewed, but very mild and downplayed.

On tap at Brauereigasthof Bürgerbräu, Bad Reichenhall, Bavaria, Germany.
Hazy yellow/orange coloured, medium sized white head, pleasant wheaty nose. Moderate yeasty, wheaty and fruity (banana is dominant) with quite unpleasant touch of meat in the finish. All in all good weizen but pitty for the finish.

Bottled (from BierZwerg.de). Hazy goldeny orange colour with mediumsized white fluffy head, which vanishes quite quickly though. Aroma is wheat, fruits, some slight yeasty notes as well as mild herbs as well. Flavour is fruits, wheat, some fruits, mild notes of grass as well as some mild herbal notes. Not as sweet as many others, which makes this rather nicely balanced brew.

pivnizub (9166) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAR 20, 2010
Bottle: Golden coloured and relatively clear, creamy white head; ripe bananas, wheat and delicate cloves in the sweet-fruity nose; creamy MF, almost medium bodied, light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour; bananas without cloves in the sourish-wheaty finish, a light tartness in the aftertaste hardly detectable. Brave Weizen.......
