Initial sparkling, a murky medium grey orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate to light light heavy yeasty, banana, clove, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20101016]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy and opaque golden with a dense and lacing white head. Sweet banana accents in the nose - and oh, yeast of course. Medium body, dry yeastiness and subdued phenols while the fruit is less dominant flavourwise. Dry finish. 151010

(bottle) Cloudy, amber colour with a big and slightly beige foamy head. Moderately wheaty, slightly cara-malty and bready aroma with a tinge of citrus and traces of cloves. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasantly matured and smooth carbonation. Wheaty and slightly cara-malty taste; a delicate fruit-character shows up towards the slightly sweet and sour finish. A bit slim but very pleasant Ur-Weisse. 15.X.10

Hazy, deep golden coloured, very stable, medium-sized off-white, a bit yellowish head; solid nose: citrusy aromas meet bananas and wheat; mild to moderate sweet-tart flavour, mellow MF, light bodied; mild citrus-fruity, a bit yeasty and wheaty finish with an illusion of tartness in the aftertaste. Very decent Weizen........

Dark hazy ochre/brown colour, darker than some dunkelweizen’s I’ve had ! Huge, thick but fluffy white head, that went away slowly leaving lots of lacing. Fresh, sharp spicy/yeasty nose, some lemon. Light, watery taste, slightly yeasty, weak cloves, lemon, some weak hopiness from time to time. That’s two light hefes without any banana taste today. Man... Still, this is very refreshing, and easily drinkable, so I guess it’s ok in that aspect.
