0,5 l bottle. BB 27. Mar 13. bread, toast, citrus, herbs, leaves, woody, light brown, clear, frothy, tan foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, creamy, soft carbonation,

Clear brown. Sweet with roasted malt, rye bread and caramel. Mild bitter end.

It’s red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of loads of nuts, roasted malt and caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet with a lot of nuts, caramel, roasted malt and a little fruit. The finish is slightly dry. A really lovely dunkel!

It smells roasty, sweet. The taste is hoppy-sweet, roasty, nice! In the aftertaste just a short time malty. Nice but mild. 12/13/10/12/12/13

50cl bottle. Pours a dark brown with an off-white head. Smells of sweet malt. Medium-bodied, with some hint of caramel. Leaves some sweetness stuck to your mouth. Quite tasty and drinkable, but not very remarkable.

bottle, Dankeschön nach Bochum! Clear brown colour, mid-sized head. Malty with hints of chocolate and raisins, slightly fruity. Some pleasant shy hoppy flavours hover in the background. A well-balanced and pleasant Dunkel.

Tap, somewhere in Trockau. Malt and plums in the aroma. Dark brown color. Caramel, malt and plums in the sweetish flavor. Just a hint of butter. Delicious dunkel!

(bottle, as Original Dunkel) Clear, dark amber colour with a fluffy and quite stable off-white foamy head. Toast-malty aroma with caramel and a blend of aromatic herbal and spicy hops and shy but distinctive fruity esters in the background. Moderately bitter, minimal sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a rather soft carbonation. Malt accented, slightly roasty taste with caramel and an illusion of dried fruits; dry-ish, malty, slightly bitter finish with a whiff of hops. Decent Dunkel.

Bottle (donated by joss): Amber colored, bigger fluffy, but stable off-white head; moderate caramelly and fruity, a bit dusty nose; light to medium bodied, mild sweetish flavour; slightly bitter, mild fruity and caramelly finish. O.K., has some qualities of a heavily diluted Doppelbock.........
