1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Ascot Beer Festival 2012. Pours a golden colour with a thin head, aroma has some citrus and a hint of honey, taste was sour with a bitter finish. This was not very good.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cask at the Guide Dog - St Denys (So’ton) - 09/09/12.
Clear pale golden with a thin off-white head.
Nose was veg, peas, farmyard, more veg - meh !!!
Taste unfortunately followed nose, peas and veg !
Light to medium body - overall a pretty turgid tasting beer which resulted in failing to finish a half between two of us !!!
Since I started to review beers (Nov ’11) this is the worst cask ale I’ve come across!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the Winning Post, Winkfield, Berkshire. Amber with a tight cream head; sour grain aroma; soft and creamy in the mouth with a grainy feel; gently bitter with a touch of citrus to finish. Very satisfying, given the lowish ABV.
