COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the spring of 2006, I brewed 300 gallons of top-fermented beer using wild yeast to create a Belgian-style Lambic. We conditioned the beer in oak casks and then initiated a secondary fermentation in the casks using whole fruit from Huber's Orchard in Starlight, Indiana. You should experience a tart, almost sour taste balanced by the aromatic and richly flavorful addition of whole blueberries - perfect to share with friends, and a platter of good cheese and fresh fruit. - Caleb Staton, Head Brewer

Clear reddish color with no head or carbonation. Nice aroma and flavor but no carbonation what so ever. Such a pity since the flavor is so nice.

Side by side tasting of the Upland Sour Reserve, Raspberry, Strawberry, Blueberry and Kiwi Lambic. Sour Reserve Blend 5: soft sour body, buttery, a tad floral as well 4.1/5 Kiwi: no real kiwi characteristics, extremely sour and lactic 2.9/5 Raspberry: one of the freshest raspberry aromas around. Afterwards all is sour and lactic 3.4/5 Strawberry: aroma is q bit chemical strawberry, the body and taste makes one remind of the Hanssens Oudbeitje, let it be a lot more sour 3.2/5 Blueberry: the nicest and tartest of the "Lambic" series we sampled 3.5/5 These beers are not lambics and should not be called as such. It is obvious that the sour character in this beer comes from lactic fermentation rather than a complex process of different families of bacteria and yeast. The aftertaste of all of the sampled "lambic" serie have a repelling sour finish...

Bottle thnx to Geoffrey . Pours red/pink , instantly fading white head . Smell is fleshy berry , sour . Taste is sour, bit harsh . Fruity, fleshy . Very dry . Nice , but very simple ( sour bacteria added rather than a complex mixture of different Brettanomyces - species ) .

Reddish-purple pour with a white head. The aroma has some strong tart blueberry notes and some biscuit malt. The flavor is similar. There is a lot of juicy and tart blueberry character as well as some vinegar and strong tartness. There is also a hint of biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle, shared at Thanksgiving dinner with guests. Another gem from b3shine-- thanks Beau! Lovely violet hue, murky, with a lively crown of fine bubbles. Big perfumey blueberry and lactic sourness combine to make a quenching, salivary gland-pumping, treat. Yeasty and woody undertones, sour and dry. Another fantastic American lambic from Upland.

Poured from bottle to glass. Hazy purple hue with pink hue that dissipates. Aroma is lactic, blueberry, straw, light leather. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and zesty carbonation. Taste is sweet throughout with a tart following and a puckering finish. Overs all this is a nice brew.

Poured a dark deep blue, almost purple color with aromas of tart blueberries, funk, wet wood, and sourness. Flavors were sour blueberries, funk, light vineagar, overly sour, but was decent enough to stomach.

Bottle:   Deep violet, little head and little lacing.   To be expected I guess.   Tart unripened blueberry nose and oak.   Fairly sour on the tongue.   Blueberry is very faint.   Fairly acidic, moderate vinegar.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Dry finish, light greenish blueberries, and oak.   Simple, yet decent.   Thanks Kevin!

More sour than I expected, but nothing wrong with that.... Tart in the finish. Light carbonation. With a purple color. I dig it.
