COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This crisp golden ale is built on the foundation of delicate light malts. This allows us to showcase some of the most interesting and effervescent American hops in a way we have never before done. We saved over 75% of the hops used in this recipe to add after the batch was boiled, allowing the distinct fragrance of grapefruit, apricot and pine to be preserved as much as possible in the finished beer. With a crisp, but subtle bitterness, a refreshingly light malt character, and a 4.5 ABV, this is the perfect warm weather beverage for those who think flavor is just as important as refreshment.

pours hazy straw yellow with a thick frothy white head. Aroma is definite citrus, specifically lemon. Taste is clean and citrusy at first, then the hop bitterness kicks in and lingers pleasantly. Not overpoweringly bitter. Just enough. They were going for a session IPA, and I think they hit the mark. Good beer!

At Roots. Powerful hops makes this a bit of a hoppy only beer, since the malt is toned back to make it a session beer.Serving: Tap

on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy light amber color, white head that settles to a full cover, sheets of lace. Aroma of malt, fruit, and light hops. Taste matches aroma - Malt and fruit adds edgy carbonation on the swallow, then assertive pine hops that can’t hold on to the end, yielding to the malt well before the last. A really solid session brew.

12 oz. bottle poured to a small Czech-pils glass at home, showing a slightly hazed, light gold color, with frothy, soft white head foam that reduced to a persistent, bubbly layer, and left some patchy lacing on the glass. The nose was grass & greenery, ripe pit fruit, a combination of pineapple & mandarin orange, and some berry sweetness. The taste exposed additional citrus as grapefruit to the fore mentioned esters, and a moderate, earthy/dusty, rind & resin bitterness that lingered. Light bodied, with decent carbonation, some dryness joined the bitterness for the finish. Fair enough drinkability.

Cloudy, yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has light citrus and pine notes. It has a light, oily body with lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a slightly dry finish.

GABF 2015. Clear gold color and a white head on top. Flavor is mostly hops, a little malt, light palate but very drinkable. No complaints, just a simple session beer.

Bottle from Breeze Thru. No bottle date. Pale orange pour with a white head. Lightly fruity, mildly hoppy. A bit lemonade-ish in consistency. Shrug? Nothing bad about this, but many better in the style. 11.7

Bottle, pours pale yellow small white head. Aroma of pine and grapefruit follows thru to taste. Slightly carbonated nice and crisp. 50 IBU any more would be too much for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Basic hoppy beer. Ok to drink and some hops. But this is not an IPA. Recent trip to Madison. Lacy.

On tap at Brickside. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a light grass note with a bit of bread and a grain backbone. Flavor has lots of bread and grain with a grass backbone.
