COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This crisp golden ale is built on the foundation of delicate light malts. This allows us to showcase some of the most interesting and effervescent American hops in a way we have never before done. We saved over 75% of the hops used in this recipe to add after the batch was boiled, allowing the distinct fragrance of grapefruit, apricot and pine to be preserved as much as possible in the finished beer. With a crisp, but subtle bitterness, a refreshingly light malt character, and a 4.5 ABV, this is the perfect warm weather beverage for those who think flavor is just as important as refreshment.

12oz bottle - pours cloudy and like straw with white head. Nose is lemon peel, floral, and piny resin. Flavor adds grapefruit and a little bread. Quite bitter but short lasting. Goes great with this banana! Exceeded my expectations.

Aroma: (7- noteworthy quality) Moderate grapefruit, quite juicy and fresh, light cereal background. Appearance: (4- high quality) Still gold with sticky white head. Flavor: (8- very high quality) Grapefruit up front, and grapefruit centric overall; the finish reveals a bit of cereal and pine/grass as well, not overly bitter. Palate: (4- high quality) Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, somewhat bitter finish. Overall: Another well crafted Upland beer; shared a pitcher of this at the brewery with friends.

Draught at Dutch’s. Very pleasant IPA. Yellow body. Nice bitterness and overall a good summer beer.

Draft. Pours straw gold with a white head, some retention/lace. Aroma of grassy/citrus hops, cracker/grainy malt. Taste is moderately bitter, grassy/melon hops, light cracker malt sweetness. Palate is lightly dry, soft, slick, bitter finish. Really nice.

Looks alright; light for an APA though. A transparent light gold with ample fluffy white head. Smells solid; bitter hops with a semi-sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with. An average mouthfeel. Not bad.

12oz bottle. Bottled May 2013. Clear golden color. Good one-finger thick kind of pillowy white head. Splotchy lace. Lighter body. Smooth, soft lighter carbonation. Some grassy, lightly lemon-citrusy hops. Light wheaty, bready malt. Light bitter taste, light sweet. Satisfying session ale.

12oz bottle shared. Poured yellow color with minimal white head that dissipates quickly. The grassy hop aroma. Medium body nice flavor. The grassy hops are predominant but others surface throughout a little pine and light twinges of citrus. Overall a pretty good effort another one you can Irving all day.

Pours a somewhat hazy straw golden with a thick eggshell foamy head. Nose involves lots of pine perfume and light sweet grain notes. Lightly sweet with a fair bitterness. Lighter bodied, soft, oily, creamy, with a long hoppy finish. Really enjoyable session ale with plenty of bitterness and aromatics from the hops. Very drinkable.

12oz bottle courtesy of Anndiesel. Hazy yellow-tan. Massive, frothy, steady white head. Grassy sweet hop aroma, dry, a hint grainy. Has a real classic feel, but also has that nice citrus edged new school hop edge. It’s pretty awesome to see brewers nailing and perfecting Pale Ales. Clean, fresh medium body. Slight tropical, lemony undercurrents. Really well done, very enjoyable.
