COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This crisp golden ale is built on the foundation of delicate light malts. This allows us to showcase some of the most interesting and effervescent American hops in a way we have never before done. We saved over 75% of the hops used in this recipe to add after the batch was boiled, allowing the distinct fragrance of grapefruit, apricot and pine to be preserved as much as possible in the finished beer. With a crisp, but subtle bitterness, a refreshingly light malt character, and a 4.5 ABV, this is the perfect warm weather beverage for those who think flavor is just as important as refreshment.

[Bottle] Golden colored pour with a soapy head. Mildly hoppy aroma. Taste is of light crisp hops, grains, light metallic notes, orange peel and cracker. Light in body. Not too bad.

Tap somewhere in Indianapolis. Orange color, white head. Smells hoppy, fruity, citrus, etc. Taste is similar.. Kind of bitter, but not too much. Very fruity and easy to drink. Something I would gladly have again. I feel like the Upland beers are not translating to bottle as well as the draft counterparts, because I feel like this was a pretty good beer.

Light IPA. Somewhat bitter. Smooth. Had this on draft at sheffields. Pine come and apricots. Pretty good for a session IPA.

Very hoppy low abv beer. Not best I've had. Acceptable but I've had better low aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at DLD 2014. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of floral hops and some malts. The taste was of grassy hops, toasted malts and citrus. Decent.

Bottle at Front Page sports bar, Indianapolis, IN. Pours a hazy golden body under a thumbnail of white frothy head that diminishes to a small layer of suds. Lacing is very thick and frothy. The aroma is rich with citrus and floral notes. The taste is very similar to the aroma with a large hops presence. Grapefruit, soap, floral, and biscuit. Metallic after-bite. Medium carbonation and medium/full body. Not too much going on here with complexity, but a highly drinkable session IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle. Pours a bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma of earthy and grassy hops, mild golden malt notes. Flavor is mildly bitter with light malt sweetness. Light bodied, lively mouthfeel. Finishes with mild bitterness. Not quite enough hop flavor.

355ml bottle. For once I could appreciate an upland ipa. This one works as a sessioner.
