Tmoney99 (10965) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 4, 2009
Draft sample at IBGF 2009. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Heavy complex citrus hoppy aroma with a alcohol tone. Medium body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet and small alcohol bite finish of moderate duration. This is a very good beer.

hopscotch (9379) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 4, 2011
Bottle… Space Coast Craft Beer Festival 2011 … Hazy, peach-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The bouquet offers a nice medley of praline, apricot and peach. Full-bodied with a slick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Flavor-wise, this baby is like biting into a toffee-dipped and tropical honey-soaked grapefruit rind… ‘nuff said. Lengthy, citrus rind finish. I’m fairly certain pantanap shipped this one to me. Thanks, Kan!

Bottle thanks to MSante79. Pours clear amber with frothy white head. Nose is very full citrus, apricot and hops. Taste is caramel malts, hops and citrus. Lower body than I expected.

651mL thanks to tastybeer! Pours clear orange amber, yellow foam. Very nice lacing. Nose is fruity tangerine, slightly muted, walnut. Taste is quite juicy with soft butterscotch. Soft, juicy melted butterscotch palate. Fresh bottle fresh from the brewery.

Dogbrick (8507) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 9, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2010 Sample at Heorot in Muncie, IN. This beer is a clear dark copper color with a medium off-white head that burns away quickly. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit and hops. Medium body with flavors of sweet fruits, floral hops and malt. The finish is fruity and sweet with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Just average overall.

On tap, shiiit, this tastes exactly like tropical mango juice, no sign of alcohol here, mild but persistent bitterness. This is the ultimate beer for the non-beer-drinker, it goes down like juice, tastes like juice, is this juice? Mildly carbonated, seriously a fruity beer. ---- In the bottle it is not as satisfying.

Bomber at World of Beer. Poured clear honeyed golden with a dense cap of off-white head. The aroma was sweet and juicy with grapefruit, floral notes, and a touch of honey.. warm, deliciously-inviting impression. The flavor found sweet caramel at the core along with some medium-skinned fruit meat.. moderate-plus bitterness around (grapefruit and floral, with lesser pine).. finished with a peppery kick over juicy malts and tasty bitters. Medium-plus bodied and very fresh on the palate.. spicy where it needed to be, and the balance was excellent. I’d love another!

22oz bottle: Pours a clear deep orange with a clingy-lacing white froth of head. Has a fresh resiny pine and grapefruity nose with a lightly toasted caramel background. Starts with good fullness and light caramel sweetness with lots of juicy piny hop flavor and good bitter balance before a drier, citrusy bittersweet finish. A very nice Imperial IPA.
