COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Upland Dragonfly IPA is a malty and hoppy brew. Note the clean malty fullness on the front of the palate with fruity citrus overtones, attributable to our special hops. Dry hopping creates a floral aroma, and our use of bittering hops lends a strong bitter taste in the back of the tongue and throat.

Draft - Caramel and grapefruit. Clear copper with a nice white head. Caramel and light pine hops. Light on hold, more malt forward. Still decent.

Poured from a bottle. Deep orange color and off white head. Aroma driven by malt. Taste is malt and hop bitterness. It’s missing the hop complexity you expect from an IPA. Drinkable, but unremarkable.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear, darker orange with a one finger, off white head that laces well. Aroma has floral notes as well as pine, resin, citrus, a bit of bread, and some fruity esters. Taste is balanced. Mild resin and pine over top of a bready/biscuity backbone. Really well balanced. Medium body with a low-medium carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a soft carbonation, and a dry finish. Overall a really well balanced IPA. Smooth flavours over a nice, biscuity backbone.

On tap at the brewery. Stopped by for lunch while on vacation. Nice amber color, with a very slight head. Nice floral at the start, with bitter at the end. Enjoyable.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a clear orange amber with white head. Sweet malty aroma with some floral notes. Lot of caramel and biscuity aroma. Taste is also very malt dominated. Not very well balanced. Mild to moderate bitterness with moderate to heavy sweetness. Caramel, toffee, biscuits, floral, spices. Medium bodied with sticky mouthfeel. Average IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[Bottle] Light amber color with a quickly receding white head. Nose is of hops mixed with a surprising amount of sweet malts. Grapefruit, pine, grass, caramel and light floral hops in the taste. Sharper bitterness comes out in the finish.

Pours a deep golden with a white head which lingers a bit......aroma is bread, slight sweetness.....taste is pure English IPA, bread notes, bittering, a touch of biscuitty flavor. Solid, for the American palette an English IPA is tougher to produce and do well, this one hits the marks.
