COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Upland Dragonfly IPA is a malty and hoppy brew. Note the clean malty fullness on the front of the palate with fruity citrus overtones, attributable to our special hops. Dry hopping creates a floral aroma, and our use of bittering hops lends a strong bitter taste in the back of the tongue and throat.

Draft. From notes. Citrus and pine with some floral notes. Great, I would gladly drink this again.

pours golden orange clear with a medium white head and a malty earthy pine aroma--mild sweetness gives way to piney hops and a lingering bitterness--OK IPA but not special

Bottle at Bub’s Burgers & Ice Cream in Carmel, Indiana. Clear orangy amber with a small white head. Alcohol is apparent up front but nice, and the malt really comes through with sweet caramel and a touch of molasses. The hops show up with earthy bitterness and definitely flavoring rather than aroma. That bitterness really sticks to the tongue and is a bit much for the earthiness of it. Definitely more of a British style IPA than American and very nicely done.

Mild aroma of piney hops. Nice deep amber color with white head that holds well. Sweet first then nice bitterness. Balanced well...finishes with a heavy bitterness that lingers long. A bit too much for me.

Draft clear golden orange. Nose some dank hop and sweet malt, but also some underlying burnt rubber. Taste initial citrus bitter. Some floral hop. Long bitter acid finish.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Jonathan (thanks!). Expected dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, wet grass, and pine needles. Taste is of mango and pineapple with faint shades of grass and pine. This does not appear to be very malty yet somehow manages to be balanced while at the same time remaining hop forward. The end result is a very drinkable and satisfying IPA.
