COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Upland Dragonfly IPA is a malty and hoppy brew. Note the clean malty fullness on the front of the palate with fruity citrus overtones, attributable to our special hops. Dry hopping creates a floral aroma, and our use of bittering hops lends a strong bitter taste in the back of the tongue and throat.

Hops bursting from this IPA in aroma and flavor. Taste strong in citrus, light in pine, medium caramel. Good finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A decent IPA --- there really are so many decent IPAs out there --- though nothing sets it apart from the pack. Pours a medium orange with nice head. Nose is citrusy, piney hops and flavor is much the same. Not much depth, though. It has a good hop character but there’s just not much else going on to really excite. Decent.

Yet another old IPA I had the "privilege" of winning during Brackets for Beer. Totally not cool. Malty mess. I hope I get to re-rate a fresh one some day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a bottle. Beautiful dark orange. Very floral hops, not strong though. Rather small head and low to medium lacing. Drinkable but not really in the spirit if an IPA lover, in my view. I bought a 12 pack-my last one probably.

Tasted from a 12oz brown bottle, into a nonic pint glass. Thanks Tom! I see there’s an Imperial-strength version too, but at 6.8% ABV, even this one has some kick. It poured a nice amber colour with full, creamy, lingering off-white foam and lace. Strong American hops notes: pine resin, black currant, earthy wildflowers. Not much grapefruit, actually, which was a welcome surprise. I’d love to know which hops varieties they use. Certainly an overwhelmingly hops-forward balance, but a substantial caramelly malt base as well. Medium body and carbonation, full and almost sticky mouthfeel, long-lasting fruity, bittersweet aftertaste. Good stuff.

Tasted from a 12oz. bottle. It poured burnt orange in color with a thin, white, quickly dissipating head. A hop aroma, with more of a hop than malt taste with a slightly bitter finish.

Poured out of a bottle, has a orange hazy hue with a slight fizzy head. It has a very pungent hop aroma, strong. It has a firm bitter hop taste, with a strong finish.

Slightly cloudy copper pour with a bright white head. Floral hop aroma with a little sweetness from the malt. Sweet and sticky initial flavor, the floral hops are present at the finish. This is a good IPA, just doesn’t stand out as one of the better ones.

Received 12oz bottle from jsquire, thank you! Pours light amber, thick head that fades right away to nothing. Minimal lacing. Mild resin and hop to the nose. Palate is of cane, grass, hop, tastes very sweet overall.

12oz bottle from fletche00, thanks Zach. Poured a very nice looking deep dark clear honey brown amber body with an average sized foamy off white head. Aroma is honey, amber and caramel malts, honey topped toast, orange slices and tea leaves. Full bodied with lively carbonation and an average duration on the aftertaste, solid stuff. Flavor is slightly better then the aroma, tea leaves, older citrus rinds, old molasses and toffee, toast, hop leaves, bad caramel mixed with hop cones. Not bad but considering the style it’s meh.

My favorite IPA in a bottle. Consistent, moderately hoppy, excellent aftertaste
