COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Upland Dragonfly IPA is a malty and hoppy brew. Note the clean malty fullness on the front of the palate with fruity citrus overtones, attributable to our special hops. Dry hopping creates a floral aroma, and our use of bittering hops lends a strong bitter taste in the back of the tongue and throat.

Hops bursting from this IPA in aroma and flavor. Taste strong in citrus, light in pine, medium caramel. Good finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber, off-white head..a very pretty beer. Rather flat, though, vague piney scent..Some fruit and bitter in taste....seems muted, somehow. The hops present more towards the end, but it never really gives you a kick of any sort.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt and piney hops. Taste is malt, hops, and some citrus. A milder IPA.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours penny copper with ecrue head. The aroma is light fruitiness, a little bit of caramel. The flavor is caramel, woody hops, and a little bit of a buttery note (which I got in their APA, too). Doesn’t seem all that bitter. The finish has a bit of sticky resin. Meh.

This was on the lighter side of IPA’s for me. It has the bitterness and citrus that an IPA should have but not enough. Not a bad beer.

Golden amber with medium head and full lacing. Smell and taste of grain and caramel malt. Mild, clean bittering shows up toward the finish. Hops and citrus linger afterward. Pretty good brew.

Served on draft at the Indianapolis tasting room. I see the ratings before me are lackluster so I wonder if they have bottling issues because what I had on draft was amazing. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized creamy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of bitter hops with resin, tropical and citrus notes. The taste is bitter citrus and resiny hops, pale malts and then more hops in the finish with a tropical vibe this time. Well balanced. Lingering bitterness. Very nice beer.

Bottle. Pours a light orange with minimal head. Smells sweet, surprisingly unhoppy. Not too bad, but nothing too awesome.
