COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Upland’s Harvest Ale is an American Pale Ale by design, but an even more vibrant rendition by loading up our hopback with freshly harvested Citra hops. Expect huge wafts of tropical fruit notes, balanced by a moderate bitterness and light toasted malt character. A showcase for one of our four favorite ingredients and a delight for all the hopheads out there.

12oz bottle. Clear yellow / orange color. Good thick foamy white head that retains well, leaves good lace. Nice, fresh, tropical citrusy nose. Good, lightly tangy zesty sweet taste, with a good satisfying bitterness. Moderate toasty malt. Very dry texture, very smooth, lighter carbonation. Good long after taste - bitter, orange, earthy hops. Nice smooth pale ale with a great, complex hop flavor

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear yellow-orange with white head, aroma brought some grass, floral, slight orange peel notes into a bit of pine, some bready notes as well. Taste is sweet orange peel, bitter grass, floral and slight pine notes into some earthy spice, some slight biscuit, finishing bitter, dry.

Had this poured from draft at Whole Foods lincoln park. Orange clear with white fluffy head. Orange musty aroma. Fruity taste at first then leaves a really bitter taste at the end. I liked it though

On tap at Upland Tasting Room. Surprise! I saw "harvest" and was thinking more of an October Fest-type beer. This is definitely a hoppy pale ale. Very hoppy aroma and flavor for you hops folks. A good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Really good job this year upland. Nose is all citra, body isn't too light or rich, and the finish is nicely bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle - Pours lightly hazy orange with a one finger, off-white lingering head that laces well. It has a citrus hop aroma. The flavor is of citrus accented hops with a slight herbal note, moderate bitterness, and tasty malt backing. It’s medium bodied and quite good.

12 oz. bottle poured to a fest goblet, showing a hazed, orangey gold color, with a gradually diminishing, soft white, froth & bubbles head, and light, web-like lacing on the glass. The aroma was a pleasing nose of orange & grapefruit, some mango, light caramelly sweetness, and soft malt. Lively carbonation intensified the medium, earthy, rindy, and quite lingering hop bitterness, and was checked by decent malt content. Medium bodied, with light malt sweetness, just a touch of alcohol warmth, the bitterness, and some dryness on the finish. Tasty and very drinkable.
