Snifter at Upland. Pours cloudy bright orange with tall foamy white head. Nose is citrus orange and Belgian yeast. Flavor is juicy citrus fruit, some spices like clove and nutmeg linger underneath and a crisp clean finish with slight alcohol presence. Pretty good offering.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled at the Brewpub. It poured a clear amber color with a white head. The aroma was of moderate to heavy sour citrus hoppiness. It had a medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. The taste was of sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Well done.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
bomber - pours clear gold with minimal white head and modest lacing. Nose is floral. Flavor adds citrus, Belgian sugars, and booze. Sweet and boozy. Based on the label I was expecting a Tripel and once I saw the pour, I thought, "This isnít a tripel!" The color reminds me of Delerium Tremens. Donít care for the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at Pint House during a tap takeover. Cloudy golden pour with a medium thick and foamy white head that dissipates slowly. Patches of lacing. The aroma consists of yeast, banana and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of grainy malt, citrus, malt and bananas. The finish is fruity with a bubblegum and yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This bottled beer pours a small off-white head, transparent body, spotty amounts of lacing, very little visible carbonation, and a gold hue. The Aroma is malty, spicy, fruity, some hints of citrus, hints of bananas, and some yeast. The Taste is malty, bananas, fruity, citrus, and some hops. The Palate is fairly smooth and warming and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, a very quaffable beer, worth trying and a beer I would drink again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap. Clear golden, slightly orange color. Thin white head. Couple bits of lace. Spicy, citrusy nose. Orange and lemon citrus in the flavor, spice. Little banana. Bigger body. Crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Moderate sweet taste, bigger zesty orange peel taste. Light alcohol bite. Tasty, but overall, just an OK tripel. Not as smooth as other midwestern examples, not as full of a body, alcohol is not as well hidden, not as complex. Belgian yeast doesnít seem to contribute as much as it does in other examples. Enjoyable still, though.
