UPDATED: JUN 11, 2012 Bottle at SAVOR. Poured a slightly red-tinted amber color, small off-white head. Aroma was slightly hop, with sour notes, a touch of wood. Flavor was tart, fruits, a bit of oak. Very enjoyable.

Bottle at Savor. Poured medium amber. Picked up a slight hop aroma on the nose. Sourness was mild and in balance with the rest of the rest of the beer. Picked up some fruit notes, remarkably pineapple. Very nice brew. Like a lot of the choices at Savor, I wish it was available locally.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours with a hazed orange hued body with some particles. A small tan head on top doesn’t last. Aromas are tart, acetic, mild sweetness, woody, spicy, vanilla and a bit of bourbon. Some dark fruit esters. Flavors are of bourbon, ethyl acetate, nail polish, acetic acid, estery, plums, fruity, quite acidic. Medium vanillin. Lively bubbles, somewhat dry. Alcohol was surprisingly well hidden.

Bottle shared at bu11zeye’s 10,000th rating tasting. The beer pours a light brown color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of toffee and caramel malt, as well as some tart cherries and oak notes. The flavor is similar, with some lightly tart cherries, oak, leather and vanilla. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle... Poured deep reddish/ruby with a thin head that dissipated quickly. Another nice tart offering from Upland. A little drying with acidity and puckering sourness. Candied sugars, oak, barrel characters, some booze with more yeast and tartness towards the finish.
