750 ml shared with Bill. poured a cloudy apricot color, smell of sour peach and brett. this beer is soooo good.. easy to drink, smooth with a strong taste of fresh peaches. this batch is from 2010 and it tasted as if the peached were picked this morning. very tar, sour, sour peach, brett, overall another great experience from upland. Their sours have never dissapointed.!

A really excellent sour. No head at all. Aroma is definitely funk, although there is a trace of peach there. Cloudy orange color with a fair amount of yeast floating around. Some sours have too much vinegar taste to suit me, but I did not encounter that hear at all. Really like the flavors. Nice mix of sweet and sour. Palate is fine, medium body and creamy feel. Good stuff. Can’t wait to try more Upland sours.

Bottle - Vintage 2013 - Funky peach and petroleum. Hazy gold with a small head. Acidic, throat tightening dry and peach in the finish. A bit candy like in the finish. Very tart and acidic.

Location: 750 ml bottle from Upland, 2/22/15

Aroma: The nose is fruity and funky, peach, sweet and sour notes, and a little oak
Appearance: It pours a murky, bright orange color with a small, fizzy head and light lace
Flavor: Tastes similarly, a little sweet, some oak, with a nice funky and tart and sour flavor mix
Palate: The mouthfeel is fairly lively, with a tart feel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty nice fruity lambic. Lots of solid flavor. We brought it to a BYOB brunch this morning, it made for an excellent (much more enjoyable) substitute for the standard mimosa.

Hazy straw-colored pour with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the peaches and wheat. The flavor is a mix of juicy peaches, wheat and biscuit malt. The beer also has a strong acidic character to it. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

2010 batch. Much better than the current uplands. Sour peaches. Acid. A lot less sours than the current ones.

A- murky golden peach pour with a fickle off white head. No lacing. S- a little bit of chemical plant which singes the nostrils. Peaches are nice but a little overwhelmed. Dirty white peach skin, vinegar, tart raspberries, must and oak (vanilla from oak). Some warmer, maybe overripe peach aroma as it opens up. M- light to medium sharp and acidic body. T- vinegar is strong right from the get go, but is coiled with a sweet, sugary side that balances well and does not let the acid go rouge. Lemons and peaches in the middle. Ending maintains its edge. Oak, white grapes and some twigs create a vinous sensation. A little bit of plastic.

Bottle, thanks Kevin. Can’t believe this is my first Upland. Hazy light orange pour with no head. Aroma has so much vinegar and white grapes, some light vanilla and oak, very light peach but might not have noticed it if I wasn’t looking for it. Taste has so much acid and vinegar. Moderate to strong sourness. Very intense and hard to drink. Just a hint of peach really. I expected a lot more from this.
