3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Blind tasting at Papsø’s
Cloudy deep blond color. Sour aroma, with lemon and tangerine, light malt, very light flowers too; interesting. It has a medium body, with light malt flavor, the sourness is not too strong, there is a fruity touch that reminds apples, along with the citrus fruits, and, mostly interesting, a delicate hazelnut touch. The final is delicate, lemony. Very good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ Brugmansia/Fonefan US Tasting, April 2010. Thanks a lot. Pours unclear gold with some small bubbles on top. Nose & taste is dry and has notes of vinegar, barnyard, funk and fruit. Flavor is not as complex as aroma. Low carbonation. Funky, sticky and very dry. A tasty Sour, perhaps not as complex as some Belgiums but it has a fantastic drinkability.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A: Luckily this didn’t explode like my bottle of Strawberry did, but it is highly carbonated and a cloudy orange color with a big white head.
S: Plenty of peach aroma to this. Like a lot of peach beers, a fairly pronounced bacterial aroma, but the amount of peach fruit and skin smell is quite nice. A moderate oak character along with a touch of grass.
T: A very solid peach flesh and skin flavor which stays on the tongue throughout the sip. Still sort of on the sweet side for a lambic, but there is a nice acidity to it. Just a touch of tannic fruit skin/pit and oak.
M: Medium in body with a moderate to high carbonation.
O: On the sweet side, but the fresh peach flavor is really enjoyable. One of the better Upland lambic varieties.
