>> Thanks to the 38 Degrees/Full Pint tasting group. Murky straw pour, white peach juice, low foam. Juicy peach cobbler nose with small white vinegar. Taste is highly citric, very sour. Low acetic heat finish with mega lemon. Drinkable, but a bit one note.

2013-08-17. Crisp orange body, near headless. 3+ Aroma of funky peach and a general impression of fruit, Flavour is surprisingly not sour, relatively sweet peach throughout. Average plus bodied palate, very low carbonation. Enjoyable and shows off the peach nicely but not nearly as intense and assertive as some of their other sours. Bottle, 2008 or 2009 vintage, not sure which, Campground Brewdown.

Pours hazy orange yellow with thin to no white head, aroma has notes of white fruit, stony peach, some lemony lactic notes, hints of funk, some nice biscuit in there as well. Taste is really nice mix of peach, vanilla, some hints of lemon and lactic acid, hints of funk, finishing fairly dry, sour, and nicely funky.

Bottle shared by puzzl. Pale golden beer. Aroma is great. Fresh peach, apricot and a bit of soft pineappley character. Flavour is more straightforward, peach and a light hint of funkiness. A bit lactic and tart. It’s still pretty simple in the flavour, but I think it shows a lot of potential.

Bottle that was kindly passed on in a trade by the marvellous Miketd when we met in NYC in Nov 08, cheers me old mucker. Peach skins and yeast leap forth from the nose of this beer but there is a definate sour light acidic note as well. The beer poured a muddy orange colour there was no head and it lacked much in carbonation. Taste was just a little disappointing, I really expected something more zappy and sour than it was, as it was it came across as perfectly pleasant but seemed to strike me as the smoothie of the fruit lambic world and just a little too safe. There is plenty of peachy flavours, too much sweetness remains, a likeable beer but one that just needs to be more in your face to be taken really seriously. A7 A4 F6 P3 OV14 3.4

Bottle I shared in the campground at BCTC. Pours golden with a touch of haze under a thin white head. Light peach, touches of acid. Soft funk and acid, tart fruit. Malty sweet in spots, lightly nutty, citrus and peach on the finish. Nice stuff.

750 ml bottle shared by Jason- thanks again! Pours a hazed apricot-gold with a head that gushes upon uncorking, then settles small with bubbles. Aroma of straw, oak, earth, sawdust, and lighter peach. Flavor hits mostly the same notes- oak, sawdust, earth, straw, cheesecloth, and peach, with a mineral note to it as well, though that doesn’t spoil things. The peach probably has fallen out a bit. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation, and a dry, earthy, tart mouthfeel. They make great fruit lambics. Has anyone noticed this?

3fourths (8962) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 13, 2008
750ml bottle. Careful pour yields mostly clear kool-aid orange colored body with a small white head that dies quickly. First smell and first taste remind me of real fruit peach yogurt - mostly sweet, but natural, peaches, along with a creamed lactic note. Mildly prickly up front, peppery, but not at all that tart or sour. Filmy and flimsy texture, oily at times. Still a fine beer, but Im afraid they fell short with respect to authenticity.

courtesy of tpd975 pours hazy golden straw, no head. Aroma is sour, peach-vinegary, light wood/oak, vinegar aspect remains subtle. Flavors, peach, plenty of acidic, lactobacillus yeast. Mostly light palate, and peach, palate was a tad too thin. Oak quasi absent, with mild tart finish and touch of grain.
