COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the spring of 2006, I brewed 300 gallons of top-fermented beer using wild yeast to create a Belgian-style Lambic. We conditioned the beer in oak casks and then initiated a secondary fermentation in the casks using whole fruit from Huber’s Orchard in Starlight, Indiana. You should experience a tart, almost sour taste balanced by the aromatic and richly flavorful addition of whole raspberries - perfect to share with friends, and a platter of good cheese and fresh fruit. - Caleb Staton, Head Brewer

Bottle shared by TheAlum in the GTMW ticket line, thanks Adam! Pours a murky very dark red with a light pinkish head, the aroma was full of raspberries and funk, the flavor has a great funky front end with a finish of fresh fruit, the finish is very tart, very nice.

Smell and taste is really deep raspberry. Sometimes Upland can taste like vinegar, but not this bottle. Liked it better than raspberry Cantillons if that tells you anything. Light to medium body, light sharp carbonation, and mild fizzy foam.

Deep murky dark raspberry hue, no head, with a lovely fruity raspberry tart candy and raspberry sorbet aroma. Big tart raz flavor with lovely candy undertones, quite a bit of acetic, bone dry finish wth raz and blackberry fruitiness. Amazing. Huge fruit, huge acidity.

Bottle shared by a friend. Pours clear pink with a thin white head. Aroma of raspberry, malt and sour fruit. Malty flavor quickly giving way to rasperry and funk before a super sour finish.

Bottle. Pours bright red with minimal white head. Aroma is very funky, oaky, lots of raspberry. May be my ideal smelling beer, it’s so aromatic and well balanced with funk and berry. Taste is very sour throughout, high carbonation, lots of raspberry. Overall, an absolutely delicious beer!

Bottle shared. Pours murky red purple with no head. Aroma is big lactic and tart raspberry. Flavour is light sweet and heavy sour. Light to medium bodied with a harsh acidic burning palate, melting it’s way straight though my body and giving me a second asshole. Not good.

Pours a dark thick red color. A straight fruit pulp look. A big tart raspberry aroma. Very sour flavor. Rips the tongue up with acidity. Very dry on the teeth. Big vinegar in the throat.

Bottle shared with Anker. 2010 edition. Hazy orange pour with a rim white head. Raspberry aroma with notes of oranges and it has a sourish backbone. Sour raspberries in the flavor. Orange juicy. Quite mild acidic for the style but quaffable nevertheless.

Big raspberry framboise character in nose and taste. The mouthfeel a little thick. Other than that there is raspberries barnyard funk and tartness. Enjoyable for sure.

Thanks! 750 ml. split / sampled @’t Schooltje. 10.9.13 Vintage. Deep dark raspberry, vibrant, no head. Nose is insane raspberry, puckering, strongly lactic, lemon sourness quality to the fruit but very vibrant, real fruit, all the same, touch mineral,… Taste is same amazing, vibrant lactic, touch vinegar, lemon puckering raspberry, very tart & puckering but the fruit is immense, lingering sourness with some raspberry pits in the back,… Body is puckering ,drinks amazingly well despite the sourness. Really awesome.
