Draft. Poured a dark brown color with a minimal frothy brown head that diminished with little lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted chocolate malt and vanilla bourbon alcohol aroma. Medium to heavy sweet roasted chocolate malt and sweet bourbon flavor with a medium to heavy dark choclate sweet and small bourbon alcohol bite finish of moderate to long duration. Full body with a smooth dry texture and flat carbonation. This is a very good beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a dark cola brown color with a thin beige film. The aroma and flavor have bourbon, dark chocolate, oak, roasted malt, the flavor is good but the body is a bit thin and the bourbon controls the beer. If this had more behind it, I would enjoy it much more. As it stands, still very good, but not great.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft to taster. Looks good; a fairly opaque dark cola with beige lacing. Smells and tastes of dark malt, chocolate, roast, oak, and bourbon. Decent on the palate. A little thin, especially for the abv, but it’s good beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap: The aroma consists of moderate dark chocolate, caramel, coconut, light bourbon, and roast. It’s a dark brown with no transparency and a large light brown head that has excellent retention. There’s a lot of soapy rings left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate dark chocolate and light caramel. The finish has light-moderate oak, light roasted coffee, bourbon, and faint vanilla. It’s medium-full bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat creamy mouthfeel.
