COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dark and robust beer brewed in the traditional stout method. Teddy Bear Kisses features an abundance of dark malts and high alpha hops for a powerful impact of roast, chocolate, and sweet bitterness. The lucky few who cuddle up to a warming session with Teddy Bear Kisses sense the velvety malt character, balanced bitter intensity, and soothing chocolate notes created by long aging on fair trade cocoa nibs. Teddy Bear Kisses will make you feel warm and happy inside, but itís definitely not your childhood cuddle toy.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2014 Sorry Upland, this beer smells like cabbage. It is okay otherwise, not too sweet with a reasonably creamy texture. I could say a bit more but, honestly, the whole story of this beer is the gross autolyzed yeast and cabbage nose so, you know, maybe itís good w/o these two elements but I really have no way of knowing.

Dark roasted aroma. Chocolate and coffee with a bitter finish. Not one of my favorite imperial stouts.

Tap. Dark pour with a little tan head. Smells of chocolate and slight coffee. Tastes of the same with a slight sweetness and slight alcohol burn. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a black with small head and small lacing. Aroma of dark bitter chocolate roasted malt hint of vanilla and caramel. Boozy. Moderate hope bitterness. Full bodied chewy and a bit oily. Medium bitter finish with vodka like boozy tones. Wanted to like this better . May be good with age.

Outstanding. Fairly low carbonation chocolate carmel up front. High ABV is subdued by great grain bill.

Black pour, almost zero head. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, caramel. The body is medium with a smooth mouthfeel. More chocolate, a little roasted malts. Overall itís really good and the 10.2% alcohol is very well hidden.

2014 12oz bottle. Black pour with a tan head. Big dark chocolate on the nose with some hops and roastiness. Taste is big on the dark chocolate with licorice, dark fruit, oats, molasses as well. Great beer!

2014ís 12 oz. bottle. Pours pitch black with a thin mocha head that dwindles to a thin ring and leaves some spotty lace around the edges. Nose involves rich dark chocolate, toasted malt, licorice, fairly intense herbal hops, some cherry and plum. Quite sweet, but pretty bitter as well. Medium to full bodied, viscous, softer carb, finishing toasty, warm, and toward dry. Nice brew, pretty drinkable but still with substance.
