A dark and robust beer brewed in the traditional stout method. Teddy Bear Kisses features an abundance of dark malts and high alpha hops for a powerful impact of roast, chocolate, and sweet bitterness. The lucky few who cuddle up to a warming session with Teddy Bear Kisses sense the velvety malt character, balanced bitter intensity, and soothing chocolate notes created by long aging on fair trade cocoa nibs. Teddy Bear Kisses will make you feel warm and happy inside, but it’s definitely not your childhood cuddle toy.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. Rich chocolaty aroma and flavor, hints of coffee from roasted malts, fruity alcohol notes, burnt toast in the finish, there is a big malty rich melanoidin character. This is a huge, rich, roasty, imperial stout. I could not drink much of this.

Tried this at the Upland Brewery. Dark roasted notes with a nutty undertone. Well balanced and smooth for 10.2% alcohol. One of the better Upland beers I've had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At Bangers and Lace. Decent but not outstanding Imperial Stout. All the notes hit though and nothing out of balance. Serving: Tap

Poured from a bomber into a snifter a chocolate brown with a thin brown head Aroma is funky almost artificial. Reminds me of Christmas ales. Taste is decent. Dark chocolate coffee & a sweetness that isn’t quite superb. Think I am getting cinnamon with this beverage & that pretty much kills it for me. Carbonation is slightly more than one would appreciate in a true stout. Overall this an acceptable stout but its all over the place with intention. The base is good but there was a weirdness of flavor here that told me to go no further than half of the bomber.

Received in trade from ajzy, thanks for thew opportunity! Pours a solid dark brown/black color with a decent sized tan head that persists for a while before falling to a cap on top. Smells of roast and chocolate with a solid earthy hop edge and a faint plastic phenol. The flavor is roast and chocolate up front with enough roast and earthy hop flavor to provide more than enough balance. Light bits of dark chocolate and Hershey’s syrup mixed with a faint oxidized character round things out. Thick body with a light level of carbonation and a sweet rich chocolate mouthfeel. Nice brew, a couple of minor flaws, I enjoyed it for what is was.
