This draft brew from a beer festival poured a very large sized head of foamy finely sized brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque black brown colored body. The mild aroma was malty. The off - the ark mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of roasted malt and dark malt. Not one that I would likely drink again.

Bomber. Pours an opaque black with nice cholatey head, dissipated, but left some nice lacing. Aroma is a big chocolate toffee. Taste is, of course, chocolate malt, but some burnt marshmallow was noted. Alcohol tow, but good with a stout. Very good stout, the only thing missing was more of a mouthy feel.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
From notes. First reviewed 2/23/2011. Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
Teddy Bear Kisses pours a near black mahogany color, with walnut edges. A nice coffee colored head fades quickly, leaving a few spots of lace on the glass.
The aroma is quite light for an imperial stout. Dark roasted barley, dark chocolate,
Dark roasted malt gives off a nearly burnt flavor. Some dark chocolate and espresso add some bitterness, with molasses and raisins adding some sweetness. The finish is sweet, but with a little coffee as well.
This has a medium to full body for the style, with a slightly sticky yet still dry feel. Light to medium carbonation.
Overall I thought this was good, not great. Although that might be an unfair comparison given what it was going up against.

Pours opaque black with a big brown head. The huge nose is full of roasted notes and sweet chocolate. Plenty of alcohol in the nose as well. Same flavors, but not as robust as the nose. Very fizzy with a warm finish. Good stuff, but it could be so much better.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Date: February 17, 2012 Mode: Bottle Source: Crown Description: Opaque black pour with large tan head and some lacing. Aroma was malty, chocolate, coffee and some alcohol. Taste was similar with a strong alcohol presence at end and a dry overly bitter finish. This was way too carbonated for an impy stout.

Pours pitch black with a thin wispy mocha head. Notes of sweet chocolate, dark roasted malt, pepper, thick chewy caramelized wort, and mdoerate herbal resins. Full to heavy bodied with moderate alcohol and lively carbonation. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.
