COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dark and robust beer brewed in the traditional stout method. Teddy Bear Kisses features an abundance of dark malts and high alpha hops for a powerful impact of roast, chocolate, and sweet bitterness. The lucky few who cuddle up to a warming session with Teddy Bear Kisses sense the velvety malt character, balanced bitter intensity, and soothing chocolate notes created by long aging on fair trade cocoa nibs. Teddy Bear Kisses will make you feel warm and happy inside, but itís definitely not your childhood cuddle toy.

Picked this up while in Indianapolis. First Upland beer Iíve tried. Pour is dark brown with a thin khaki head. Flavor is burnt chocolate with some underlying hops and alcohol warmth, but not over the top. Drinkable, sweet balanced by the addition of cocoa nibs. Slight pepper like finish. Enjoyable, yet some what run of the mill for the imperial stout style.

This is a very good stout. Smells very chocolatey. Itís black as shit and has a nice thick bit small foam ring around it. The beer looks a little like Jupiter from the top. Nice and creamy mouthfeel thats a little thin, but still has some body to it. Tastes great!.

Stouts have character! This stout is no exception. Sweet enough to be balanced, with a complex chocolate coffee flavor. For 10% its way too drinkable. You could pound one of these, its that kind of good...

Bomber (marked October 2013) into La Petite Tulipe - nose is roast and chocolate. Sip intensifies the roast character at the expense of the chocolate. If youíre going to point out that part of your product is made from fair-trade practices, then donít be surprised when smart asses state that the rest of your product was made under a "bureaucratic machine in which youíre embedded as the dehumanizing monolith it is."

Bottle thanks to Cal. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong cocoa nibs, dark chocolate, roast. Medium mouthfeel with strong roast, cocoa, dark chocolate, and bitter finish. Decent.

Pours black with a thin tan head. Nose is dark roasted grain with Mexican chocolate notes. Taste is sweet with a nice bitter edge at the back of the palate. Medium body, lively carbonation. Nice brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Strong effort, nose is a bit yeasty, color and head are very nice....just the way you hope. Mouth feel is a bit weak. Taste is solid on the front and middle but more bitter on the end than this beer calls for. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz. bottle with a bottle date of Oct, 2012 thanks to queenholy about a year ago. Dark brown color almost black. Thin a very thin ring of head around the snifter. Aroma is chocolate malt, bakers chocolate, and light espresso bean.

Alcohol is hidden pretty well, yet for a higher gravity beer I was expecting a much fuller, bold body. Flavor is mild chocolate and roasted malt with a pretty large hop bitterness showing in the finish. The finish shows anise and light alcohol burn. Even after sitting awhile, you can tell that youíre drinking a 10% ABV stout. Its gets sharper as it warms. Pretty nice mouthfeel with a smooth velvety texture. Good Impy stout, not top tier.

Bottle. The pour is dark, little head. The aroma is mostly chocolate malt. The taste is a little light and a little harsh taste. Wish there was more chocolate and coffee. Roast is noticible for sure, hides he abv. Overall was expecting more.

A lot of vanilla and cacao stand out on this beer. Pours black with ok head and lacing. Thick consistency with a fairly bitter finish. Some roast malt, but the chocolate and vanilla really dominate this. Bottle thanks to Bmoosey.
