This unique brew is composed above the foundation of a classic American Pale Ale, with Pale and Munich malts providing the bass and notes of biscuit, honey, and spicy rye malt filling in the harmony. Additionally, Landlocked Music and Upland are partnering up to raise some moolah. 10% of all Vinyl Tap Sales as well as donations received at the RSD parties and part of Landlocked’s RSD sales will be given back to support local arts and music in the community. Boom! Can’t wait to hear your feedback on the beer and can’t wait to see you our supporting your local record stores!

Pint at Melt Columbus on 6/28/14. Clear amber pour with a thick off-white head. Aroma of malt, grassy hop and spicy rye. Malt and spicy rye flavor with a piney hop finish.

On tap at Upland. A cloudy, dark orange pour. I like the spicy background the rye brings. A medium carbonation adds to the hoppy bite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft in a taster - sip announces butter, citrus and caramel. Better taste than flavor. Just short of greatness.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear amber-orange color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of earthy hops, citrus and rye malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at The Brass Tap. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head that leaves some spots of lace. Notes of light citrus fruits, leaves and florals, straw, rye, honey, and biscuity, pale and sweet malts. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, earthy mouthfeel. Drinks simpler than the description. Easy.

Draft. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Draft at Dutch’s. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma has a decent amount of fruity hops with some spicy rye notes. The flavor has less fruity character and more toasted bread, spicy rye, moderate bitterness, light citrus. There are more interesting pale ales available.

What a disappointment for a rye beer no hop at all don't even call it a pale ale. A good malty yeasty beer but disappointing . ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Dutch’s. Clear orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Good light piney hop, some citrus, nice biscuity malt, and light rye spiciness. Super smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of crisp. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Flavor is kind of mild, but this is a very easy-drinking rye IPA.

Aroma of some hops and a little bread, taste is mild hops, unbalanced, almost no alcohol.
