On tap. Pours gold with a thin dense white head. Malty aroma with some spicy fruit notes. The flavor is sweet with some rye and fruit notes. Moderately hoppy. The mouthfeel is a bit thin.

Smooth and silky with a great hop and malt balance. Hops in the nose and initial flavor. The beer finishes sweet and smooth. Went down easy after a long bike ride.

Draft: Slightly cloudy, yellow-orange with a small, off-white head. Tangerine/orange aroma. Taste is orange, grain malt, leafy hops...I didnít really get a sense of the rye, Itís ok, but rather lackluster.

b3shine (5336) - Indiana, USA - APR 14, 2014
Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a mostly transparent golden orange with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of mild hops and pale malt with a bit more rye spice. Tastes like it smells, but blander, at least in terms of the hops and rye. Average on palate. Smells better than it tastes.

Draft. Tangerine malt and peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange malt and lightly bitter orange peel flavor. Light - not much rye flavor though.

Aroma: (5- average) Lightly spicy rye and citrus, some red grape. Appearance: (4- high quality) Still copper with sticky, bubbly white head. Flavor: (4- below average) Mostly rye, very muted citrus- basically tastes old or off somehow. Palate: (3- average) Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, very light bitterness Overall: The website description says this was made for an April 12th event- surely this isnít the same batch...
