Very easy drinking pale ale. I don't have the palate to really differentiate the different flavors. It's a good introduction to the hoppier beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smooth and silky with a great hop and malt balance. Hops in the nose and initial flavor. The beer finishes sweet and smooth. Went down easy after a long bike ride.

On tap at Dutch’s. Clear orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Good light piney hop, some citrus, nice biscuity malt, and light rye spiciness. Super smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of crisp. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Flavor is kind of mild, but this is a very easy-drinking rye IPA.

Draft. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Draft in a taster - sip announces butter, citrus and caramel. Better taste than flavor. Just short of greatness.

Crystal clear with spicy rye aroma. Creamy mouthfeel and a strong hops flavor balances the rye heat. Pleasant and slightly sticky mouthfeel.

Draft at The Brass Tap. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head that leaves some spots of lace. Notes of light citrus fruits, leaves and florals, straw, rye, honey, and biscuity, pale and sweet malts. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, earthy mouthfeel. Drinks simpler than the description. Easy.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear amber-orange color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of earthy hops, citrus and rye malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
