sneagrams3 (1704), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Nov 3, 2009 Tasted 11/3/09. 12oz bottle. Activated pour shows a hazy body with an orange golden hue. Finger width of white head. Aromas of cereal grains and a nice zip of citrus. Subtle estery undertones. Medium bodied and very bright. I get an apples and cinnamon note mixed in with the citrus flavors. This is rather nice and smooth with just enough zest and effervescence to linger on the finish. This is very easy on the palate and quite quaffable. daknole (2800), Plantation, Florida, USA Oct 30, 2009 VERY pale yellow pour. Coriander and lemon jump out of the glass immediately followed by a small wheat profile. Flavor is lemony and tart. A tad watery, but the flavor is interesting enough to keep me sipping. danielcurtis81 (868), San Diego, California, USA Sep 13, 2009 BPW #4
Draft at Shallos in Indy. Appearance is a pale yellow with a thin white head. Nose is supper light with a touch of dish soap. Wheat flavors that I expect from this style really do not come through on this brew. Not a big fan of this guy.
awiseman01 (318), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Sep 8, 2009 Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #4 of 90. Bottle Dan picked up at Parti Pak. Pours cloudy yellow. Nose is orange, wheat, spices. Flavors follow, good citrus taste, a little week on the palate. Not bad, but I’ve had better wheat beers. jebert (110), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA Jul 30, 2009 Pours a light golden color, slightly cloudy, with a thin white head. Nose is mostly wheat with a hint of coriander. Taste is citrus, wheat, coriander and licorice. Not as creamy as some of Uplander’s other brews. A nice summertime sipping beer, it pairs well with light cheese, fruits or crackers. beernbourbon (228), chicago, Illinois, USA May 28, 2009 Bottle. Pour is very pale faintly cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is lemon, chamomile, grass, orange, arugula, and wheat. Flavor is very mild: lemon, chamomile, coriander, faint hops, clove, and wheat. Green tea flavor lingers on tongue for a bit in finish as the dominant flavor. Very subtle but certainly not boring. illinismitty (1790), Nashville, Tennessee, USA May 24, 2009 Draft at taproom. Extreme pale yellow murky appearance, almost like grapefruit juice, with a dissipating white head. Citrus rind aroma. Medium to light bodied with a slight prickly spritziness on the tongue. Flavor of wheat malt, yeast, and orange peel with an acidic finish. 17thfloor (1402), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 12, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a very clear very light yellow with a big thin sudsy white head... oops theres the yeast... okay now its cloudy. Strong lemon aroma, wheat, hospital smell, soap, cashews, light potpourri. Flavor is lemon, cashew, wheat, some bittering hops, spicy warm finish, orange peel and coriander. Long coriander aftertaste. A nice wit but too much lemon. Medium/light chalky body with softer small soda carbonation. An okay wit.
