Easy drinker, some spice, slight orange taste. Reminds me of blue moon, but not as good. Still could drink a few.

From a bottle. Pours hazy yellow gold with a creamy, fizzy white head. Dry feel, tastes like cinnamon, nice light spice, dry wheat, very light citrus creaminess. Light body and medium carbonation. Smells like a musky, sweet wheat, very light fizzy citrus.

On tap, poured into a plastic cup. The aroma is subdued, but mostly a banana aroma with some light citrus peel and maybe some spice. There are also some baked bread / pizza crust - like aromas. It pours a slightly hazy, pale yellow color with a soft, beaten-egg head that remains in moderate amounts as an island of puff floating in the middle of the glass. A modest amount of sudsy lace is left behind on the cup. The taste is a medium light sweetness with a very light bitterness. The medium light body has a soft, oily texture with lots of soft, creamy carbonation. The mouth is mostly stone fruit, citrus, some light beery, and biscuits. The finish is slightly cloying, and leaves an aftertaste reminiscent of lemon poppyseed muffins.

Pale yellow color with white foamy head. This beer smells like lemon zest, coriander and a little bit of banana. Zesty, citrusy and refreshing taste. Some butter from the malt. Light and smooth and easy drinking. A pretty good drink all around ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 07/2013. Pours very hazy golden straw color with a 2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big lemon, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, clove, pepper, wheat, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of malt, yeast, and spice notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, clove, wheat, biscuit, grass, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, clove, biscuit, wheat, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of malt, spice, and yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy and smooth mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a damn good witbier. All around good robustness and balance of malt, spice, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

This one poured a very slightly cloudy yellow color with a white head. Aroma was of light wheat and metal and sourdough. Flavor was bready and metalic. Very strange beer.

tmoreau (2132) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - DEC 9, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass, showing a hazed gold, almost straw color, with a fizzy, white, short lived head, light spots & streaks of lacing, and a finger’s width of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. The aroma presented light yeast, wheat-like graininess, a touch of sweetness, light spice, some apple-like esters, and a touch of lemony citrus. Light to medium bodied, the taste began with a light, apple strudel like flavor, then a combination of tartness & moderate hop bitterness, and prickly effervescence that was a bit overly seltzery. A refreshing, but palate scrubbing brew.
