Feb 15, 2005 Bottled. Copper colour, small creamy head. Nutmeg aroma. Sweet with rich, dense malt character. Very hoppy with lingering herbal bitter finish. Most certainly warming.

Mar 19, 2006 Slightly hazy brown. Aroma mixes toffeeish dark malts with slightly herbal notes. Herbal bitterness and malty, toffeeish sweetness contrast. Light spices kick in. Not barleywinish by any stretch, but a pretty good winter warmer.

Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, toffee, some vinous, light alcohol. Creamy medium-full body, low carbonation. (6/3/7/4/14). (2003 bottle, rated 12/6/03) Hazy garnet with small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, gingerbread. Taste is sweet, big malty, some caramel and toffee, grapefruit, finishing roasty, grapefruit and light alcohol. Medium full body. (8/3/7/4/15)
