not much to say a average lager has a malty smell with hints of hops. bitter taste with a sweet sensation laft on your palate. good if you just want a beer but nothing special

11.5 oz bottle. Standard run of the mill lager. Not much else to note. Close your eyes and imagine "beer" and you have a picture of this one. A bit more hoppy than most but not that much.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 zach8270 (2803) - Henrietta, New York, USA - FEB 12, 2006
(bottle - 11.5 oz) Cloudy gold color with not much of a head. Aroma is dry and grainy at the start with some sourness and corn all throughout. Flavor is very grainy and grassy with a dry and watery middle and a clean and corny finish. Very watery.

Bottle. Nice golden body topped with a decent white frothy head. Fair malty nose with bready and hoppy hints. Without being bad, taste is one-dimensional and dominated by malty and hoppy flavors. However, it ends with a good bitter finish. Better than most of the macro-lagers.
1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 uvajed (138) - Ravenna, Ohio, USA - OCT 1, 2005
This was about what I expected. Not a bad, cheap basic lager. Kind of a malty but stinky aroma, and a little bit of hops to mellow-out the sweaty sweetness of the tast. I can say it is "okay", if I qualify that statement with "for a macro".

Pours a faint pale glden yellow. Small quickly dissipating white head. Cereal, sweet urine nose. Wow, tastes like sweet urine flavored water. Thats about it. I cant taste anything. Can anybody else? The stoe I work at was selling this for 6 bucks a 12 pack. Now I understand why...I bet youd be better off bottling your urine
2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 HogTownHarry (4809) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - SEP 9, 2005
Bottle (341ml). Poured clear bubbly yellow-gold with a smallish fizzy fast-vanishing white head. Aroma not pleasant, sour vegetal corn-grain, some stale malt, would smell sweet if it didn’t already smell like a compost heap. Flavour is less rectal than the nose (ooh, *there’s* imagery for you), pretty standard canadian pale lager - corn, carbonation, grain. Feh "crisp" - I want crisp I eat celery. Very fizzy mouthfeel - I always felt Upper Canada never earned their reputation - this isn’t much better than a Labatt Wildcat.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MarkoR (260) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 8, 2005
Drinked two in bottle. First one ok. Second one better. Yellow colour. Bit of a skunky aroma.
