UPDATED: MAY 6, 2005 Light yellow colored body. The aroma is musty carrots and potatoes. The taste is cooked celery and grass. A slight metallic tinge to the offensive flavor. Thin and light body. I am not happy with the 11.5 oz. bottles.

Light Yellow Coloring. Skunky Aroma. Sweet Malt Taste...Horribly, One of the Better Canadian Swill Beers I’ve Had.

Piss yellow color with a medium white head. Suprisingly pleasant aroma of honey. The taste is not nearly as bad as I was expecting, offering a bit of hops in the finish. Nothing offensive.

Extremely plain lager, rendered with Sleeman’s robotic consistency. Very safe choice over Blue and Canadian.

Medium-gold; average carbonation. Lazy aroma consists of hints of grain and confectionery sugar. Instantly refreshing, with a plush palate (especially for a lager). Well-balanced hop/grain/sweet-malt flavours. Some lemon and steel on the medium-length finish. Not a huge lager, but a pretty good, everyday beer.

341ml brown bottle. Golden pour, another Upper Canada beer that displayed a nice head - full, creamy and white. Thins out some during the drink but displays great lacing. Grainy aroma, sweet malts, light fruits, nice floral aromas. In the mouth there is sweet malts over top of faint hops. Grainy, without a lot of bitterness. 5%abv.

This beer is... to turn a phrase... a little light in the knickers. Poured from a bottle, a light straw color. Aroma reminds me of a quaint pub in Windsor, Canada: malty sweet and inviting. Thin flavor, thin mouthfeel. A good beer for the price, $7.59 a 12/pk. I bought it for the unappreciative beer drinker/guest who may drop in. This stuff won’t offend anybody and it’s alot better than Busch for the same price. My bottle states 5.2% by volume.
