UPDATED: MAY 6, 2011 12 pack of 341 mL bottles bought directly from the Sleeman brewery in Guelph, Ontario where this beer is brewed. In Ontario this is now a ’discount’ beer but is arguably one of the best beers brewed by Sleeman. States handcrafted with only 4 ingredients on the bottle and case. Pours a slightly hazy medium blonde with a one inch head that quickly fades. More hoppy and flavourful than any domestic MBC I’ve tried on the market. A pleasant lingering dryness left on the palate. Relatively straightforward but a reliable and inexpensive go to beer.

Pours a light amber colour with a white creamy head. Scents of malts and honey. Slight taste of honey. Caramel and malt. The palate is creamy with lingering malts and hops.

I really like this beer. Reasonably full bodied without being over powering. I actually think it’s better on tap than bottled.

I first tried this before Sleemans bought them. After Sleemans bought them, I tried it again.

This is a golden beer with a light head that is bubbly. The aroma is earthy with hints of grass and malt. The mouthfeel is crisp and slightly carbonated. The flavour is fuller than a lot of Canadian lagers and a full-bodied with hints of malt, grass, and yeast. A good beer experience. It tastes best when VERY cold.
