2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
341ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a 2 finger white head that settles quickly leaving only a few spots of lacing. Aroma is mild toasted malts and grassy hops. Taste is light toasty malt sweetness with a moderate grassy hop bitterness. Light body and moderate carbonation. A decent pale ale, but nothing special.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Originally rated August 2005. This is a new one from Upper Canada Brewing. Aroma of sweet grain malt and some bitterness. Colour is a pale golden-yellow. Small head with some lace. Not much carbonation. Upper Canada brews are never completely clean. They seem to have a slight haze in them. Pretty refreshing and dry mouthfeel. More bitter then malty. Not really sweet. Great summer brew.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
bottle at the inlaws, they pick this up for me cause they know i dont like bud light. A nice thought on their part, but meh, this is pretty boring, VERY slight hops in the nose, typical grainy macro aroma. Some light malt in the flavour, quite bland, meh, run of the mill canadian macro pale ale, pretty mediocre really.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Typical yellow/mid-gold is disappointing for a pale ale. Mild aromas of caramel malt and grass. Malt-forward flavour is complemented with below-standard hopping and an unusual lettuce leaf/herbal edge. Bitter finish has a synthetic, plastic underlining. A poor pale ale.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JUL 31, 2007 Medium yellow colour, not pale at all. Average head for the brand, no lacing. Decent "full" flavour for a commercial product but nothing to write home about. A slight bitterness bite that passes quickly. Clean aftertaste.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught at The Academy of Spherical Arts. Light, bright golden with a small white head. Fairly non-descript but not upleasant aroma of sweet malt and mild hops. Similar flavour - malt, hops, clean and boring. I had no problem drinking a pint of it, but by the time I got home (10 minute walk), I’d forgotten pretty much everything about it.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle- A deep gold pour with good carbonation and head. Some minute lace. Mainly trace hops aroma, and there’s a touch of malty fruityness as well. But there’s just not much going on here. FLavours are mild bitterness, with a bit of sweetness showing through, with a fizzy mineral finish. I’ve had about 7 beers in the last few days that have been suspiciously close to this one. Seems to be what appeals to most Ontarians.

Ok this beer looks like a Molsten Knock off. I bought a sixer, and decided to try it. The aroma was suprisingly delightful. Well that is where the nice things run out. This beer tasted like crap.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden, typical ’beer’ colour. Good head that faded quick. Smells like ’a beer’ with some extra hops. Not as bad as I expected, still a bit watery. Not reaIIy a pale ale as I know them. Basically trying to win over Keith’s drinkers, which also isn’t a pale ale.
