Cask at Pembury Tavern, Hackney, London. Cloudy pale golden. Concentrated citric apple aroma. Mid dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Citric green apples. Refreshing, but not a lot of depth.

Polycask at Banbury Beer Festival, Banbury, Oxon, 07.05.11 Strangely this was ordered as being at 6% but when it arrived it was 4%. Tart, fruity and swiftly dries out. Quite a decent traditional Herefordshire cider, really clacky and a good mouth wakener, bit of lemon along with those sharp tart apples. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask handpull at Southampton Arms. I promised myself 16 rates in London today and I did it with this. Cloudy gold colour with thin white head. Already feeling slightly fuzzy. Thus had some alarming dryness and acetone to it that almost had me hallucinating. I swear cider has something in it that makes me go to strange places in ma heeeeed. Perfumed acetone and a dryness that approaches aridity. Almost entirely amazing. The cider that will push you to the edges of sanity. Some pale light stewed apple flavour and the dry finish is stunning. Wow. That is quite special. Flowery apple blossom

Cask at the Southampton Arms. Pours a cloduy, pale yellow gold with a slight film. Salty, slight apple nope. Tart, salty flavor, bit of apple and sugar. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes tart, lightly salty. Not too bad.

A Mes rate. Weirdo pump on the back bar at the Southampton.
Hazy yellow brown colour. Good fruit, good sourness, plenty tart and glorious dryness throughout. Fairly straight forward but easy to fall in love with all the same. Like it
