Sampled on tap at Upright tasting room, pours a hazy bright golden orange with minimal head. Aroma of apricots, yeast and salt. Flavour begins with the apricots, then veers off to a dry-hoppy mid-palate along with horse blanket, then ends salty. Quite an interesting experiment.

tap at the Cheese Bar in Portland. First off the guys in this place rock, they are super knowledgable when it comes to cheese and they picked a great local selection of cheese for us to try. I chose this beer to go with the cheeses. In my mind this beer is on par with LA cable Car in flavor. Tart with prono8unced apricot notes, effervescent, but robuts enough to stand up to serious cheese. has the right amount of funkiness and also a nice hop balance. I think Upright Brewing is a brewery to watch based on all the offerings that I sampled.

Tap @ the Hop and Vine... Poured a glowing, unfiltered orange/yellow with a white head. Aroma was tart, yeasty with a perfumy fruit character going. Tart beer, dry with apricot, fruity, citrus, great sourness to balance the sweetness. Very plump, and malty.

A cloudy, milky apricot pour with a ring of head. Zesty nose abuzz with yeast and apricot fuzz.. Earthy apricot nose and flavor with a mild yeastiness and slight earthy sour tarness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head and an apricot aroma. There is a lightly tart apricot flavor with a major yeast prescence and a dry finish. This one is not heavy on the apricot flavor, but is still a tasty refreshing saison.
