murky grapefruit, darker than four play but similar, larger spotty cream head. Nose is huge lime, lightly green with umami hints. Heavy citrus front, lime and kiwi, mildly acetic mid followed by bright fruit. Thin and sticky through the end.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear ruby color with a minimal to average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy sour fruit and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & tart flavor with a medium to heavy sour & tart finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer for style.

750ml bottle pours a hazy, caramel amber with some white head. Nose is a nice blend of cherries and vinegar, raspberry jam too. Flavor is sweet and tart, vinegar, cherries, red wine, fresh berry, strawberries. Full, bright, acidic finish.

750ml bottle, thanks to alexsdad06 for sharing. Bottle #111 of 119. Mostly clear red / orange color. Little white head. Little lace. More tart, woody aroma. Nice tart taste, not too tart. Medium body. Kind of more crisp, lighter carbonation. Light fruity. For me, a decent sour

750 ml bottle shared by alexsdad06- thanks again, Brad! Bottle 111/119. Sole Composition. Pours a mostly clear burnt orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma of rose petals, black cherries, raspberries, apple, sweet malts, oak, and some vegetal notes. Flavor of big floral notes, lemon, cherry, raspberry, and oak. Light-bodied, with a sour, floral, dry mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Floral, fruity sour.

750 ml bottle to taster (Batch 1, bottle #111/119; thanks alexsdad06). Looks good; a transparent dark orange with off-white lacing and lively carbonation. Smells good too; sweet and funky with cherry and raspberry notes. Tastes like it smells with a nice, lively mouthfeel. Good beer!

Bottle, 04/17/2013, batch 3. Thanks to quackus42. Pours blood orange color, white fizzy head fades quickly. Aroma is seedy raspberry blending to juicy strawberry and cherry notes, sour oak, wild yeast reminiscent to me of Crooked Stave brews. Taste is mildly tart raspberry with a kriek edge, sour malts, soft funky finish. Medium palate, smooth. Nice and tasty, not overly aggressive.

750mL b1 thanks to writerljberg and Travlr. Pours a full haze deep red to near purple, muddier pour, weaker foam. Nose is sharper Drie Fonteinen Kriek style with pithy black and Scharbeekse cherry, phenolic compounds, fresh raspberry, freshly baked cherry pie. More intense and more lambic/kriek in profile. But not as bright or focused as the Four Play nose. Taste is juicy strawberry, raspberry, much harsher acid component than the Four Play with intense lime and saltwater. Overall, an amazing kriek and very Belgian lambic in execution. But next to the Four Play, I thought this was too aggressively sour and not as integrated.
