On tap at Belmont Station. Colour...murky amber with no head. Nose...perky with moderate funk and loads of crushed raspberries and macerated cherries. Palate...a quick sharp attack of acetic acid that quickly fades and allows the berry/cherry blend to bring out the "love". Not too funky, not too fruity and not too sour! This is one helluva well balanced blend and Iím glad I finally got to share in the love!

Bottle shared at MuckFest 3 - Saturday Edition. Pours a richer reddish deeper amber pour, good haze, reddish glow and firm haziness. Frothy whitish head dies to a ring, laces small. Aromas are richer touches of sour fruit, peaches and lemons, sour crab apples, sweeter pears. Touches of coriander, straw, gentle oak, and doughy malts mix with a generous bretty funk of cobwebs, funk, and dust. Gentle pineapple grows, some touches of melon, tropical fruit. Firmer berry elements come in for me more as it warms. Very nice. Initial is lighter end of the fold offering firm sour fruit, apples and lemons, touches of oak, brett, lactic acid and yogurt. Richer pineapple brett influence grows with touches of bready, grainy malts that make way for a smooth, funky wild influenced beer. Mellow sourness, rich citrusy fruit melange with raspberries and cherries taking jabs of tartness, and a firm bretty influence gives some good flavors. Firm. Sour jabs grow, give some life, lemons and lactic. Inviting sourness, funk, good smooth wild blend.

750 bottle. It pours a rather dark orange/reddish color with a small off white head. I definitely pick up raspberries on first whiff, but there are some strong notes of rich cherries as well. A very nicely balanced fruit aroma. Mildly tannic and astringent with vague hints of oak, vinegar and leather. It almost gives off a Cantillon like aroma. The flavor is freaking outstanding. Youíre first hit with juicy cherry and raspberry fruit followed by sweet tarts, oak, leather and some mild barnyard hay near the finish. This is so mouthwatering itís insane. The body is surprisingly full for a lower gravity sour and the carbonation is mid range giving the flavor more depth on the palate. It also has just a hint of acetic acid at a level that is very appropriate. At this point itís still more fruit forward and isnít super funky, but the fruit was executed near perfectly. An absolute treat.

75cl, new exclusive American brew Anno 2011, with raspberries and cherries, thx to Secret Santa!, complex sour fruit brew, sour/fruity and slightly woody, balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, good brew, yet expensive!

Capped 750 from Marcus. Pours copper with a slight, perhaps lightly pinkish, transient head. Aroma is raspberry. Move over Framboise de Amorosa. Med + body. Itís quite sour, and the sour cherry dominates. Raspberry is a complementary flavor. Finshes marvelously sour, astringent, and very arguably oaky. Yum.

Bottle from haggerty. Pours cloudy amber with a pretty beige head and a peach aroma. There is a refreshing carbonated raspberry flavor with a sour cherry finish. A pleasure to drink.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2012 Thanks to starrdogg for sharing this one. Served in a cervoise. Pours a nice pinkish red color with a nice white head that falls to a collar and leaves some nice lacing behind. The nose is loaded with fresh, tart raspberries and some background earth. Flavor has a nice acidity and good raspberry, though itís not quite as lush as the nose. Light body with good carbonation and a moderate acidity through the finish. Quite nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by BuckeyeBoy. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful rarity. One of the top 2 of the tasting! Cherry nose, a bit funky, with stones, almond, complex berries. Great nose. Brown-orange, cloudy, nasty looking, almost flat. Very tart flavor, great fruit, berries and cherry, light funk. Approaching a great Belgian kriek. An excellent American sour without the over-sweetness so many have.

BottleÖ This beer rocks!Ö Murky caramel-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is spicy and herbal with subtle notes of berries and vanilla. Medium to full-bodied with a mildly creamy mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. The flavor is puckering and caramely with understated raspberry and cherry fruitiness. Finishes tart, tangy, fruity and then dry. Muchos kudos to landhoney for sharing this world class beer!

Bottle served in a tulip. Hazy dark orange-amber with but a thin ring and light film on top. Still nice to look at. Terrific sour fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry, along with solid oak notes and light funk. The nose improves as you go showing the perfect blend of oak and fruit. Spritzy tart cherry attack then red raspberries through the middle. Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, good acidity, and a tart, light sour finish. Sublime.
