4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared by BuckeyeBoy. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful rarity. One of the top 2 of the tasting! Cherry nose, a bit funky, with stones, almond, complex berries. Great nose. Brown-orange, cloudy, nasty looking, almost flat. Very tart flavor, great fruit, berries and cherry, light funk. Approaching a great Belgian kriek. An excellent American sour without the over-sweetness so many have.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
BottleÖ This beer rocks!Ö Murky caramel-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is spicy and herbal with subtle notes of berries and vanilla. Medium to full-bodied with a mildly creamy mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. The flavor is puckering and caramely with understated raspberry and cherry fruitiness. Finishes tart, tangy, fruity and then dry. Muchos kudos to landhoney for sharing this world class beer!

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle served in a tulip. Hazy dark orange-amber with but a thin ring and light film on top. Still nice to look at. Terrific sour fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry, along with solid oak notes and light funk. The nose improves as you go showing the perfect blend of oak and fruit. Spritzy tart cherry attack then red raspberries through the middle. Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, good acidity, and a tart, light sour finish. Sublime.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pour from a bottle thanks to Robert on a relaxed Saturday night. The pour was reddish brown in color with some light head. Aromas of the fruit and maybe some oak come out. The flavors are fresh tart raspberry and cherry as one would expect. Nice moderate sourness and smooth on your palate. Nice flavor retention and balanced finish. Some of the barrel character is there as well in a subtle way. Really tasty sour and would seek this one out again.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The color is a brown sugar brown color with a slight raspberry tint. Hazy in the center, it is a little bit transparent at the edges.
Interesting and complex, the aroma has some sweet grain and caramel notes
The flavor is tart, somewhat acidic, raspberry forward with a nice acetic vinegar flavor. There are some sweet notes that fall to the side quickly in favor of the tartness. Some lemon and tart cherry add some depth to the acetic, sour flavor.
This is puckering, sour, and acetic. The body is a bit thin for the style, but it does not detract from the beer. The carbonation is gentle as well.
Overall, this is a very nice acetic sour.

Nose is full of raspberries, some hay, a touch of funk and a bit of juniper. Itís a murky brown/pink/red with light foam. Taste is very nice - tart raspberries - not super sour - also bready malts and some Brett notes. Light bodied, nicely carbed.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle provided by Matt. Thanks for the .rar tick. Pours a murky reddish brown. Nose is full of ripe raspberry, itís a little vegetal, but not in a bad way. The raspberry is pretty subdued in the taste, instead itís more of a general berry flavor. Itís nice and tart with some light brettiness. Mouthfeel is average. It has some dull carbonation with some light acidity and has a medium finish. Pretty tasty stuff, really enjoying what Upright is putting out.
