Bottle shared at the January 2014 tasting in Santa Cruz. Vinous and peachy aroma, big lemony citric acid notes. Flavor is sour and citric up front before melting into a delicious sweet peach syrup/candy finish. Awesome.

750 ml bottle from a trade.Batch 2 I think. Shared with the missus. Bottle had some small seapage from the cap even though it was waxed. Pours a golden quite clear fluid with a small head that settles fast. Aroma is slight vinegar, lemon and unripe peaches. Aroma is not as tart as expected, nicely balanced with loads of peaches and barnyard funk. Very similar to Fou Foune which I had recently, this might have been a tad better though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Poured a cloudy orangey color ale with a medium size white head with ok retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light fruit notes with some tart notes that are easily discernible. Taste is a mix between some light apricot notes with some tart notes with a light funky finish. Body is somewhat full with good carbonation. I must admit that my expectation were quite high but this seems to lack the complexity I was anticipating.

Bottle @ The HUGE Tasting. Cheers, Bruce! Slightly hazy gold with a small head. Loads of peach and apricot. Orchard fruits. Dirty countryside funk. Mild accents of mandarin. More fruit leather flavors. Perfumed grass. Hints of jasmine. Light body, effervescent. Deft and very tasty. Great.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tasted in summer 2012 with Curtis and the Nashville crew. Pours hazy yellow/orange with an average white head that leaves a nice collar of lace. The nose is nicely sour with tons of lemon acidity, a hint of white wine vinegar, and tons of peach, trending to the under-ripe. The flavor is a bit more ripe with peach, quite sour but not abrasive, white wine vinegar, and a touch of vanilla barrel treatment. The body is light and tannic with average carbonation and a long sour peach finish. Big thanks to Sean von Tagen for sharing this one with me so many different times.
