3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at the BeerTemple, shared with caesar. Lightly hazy gold pour with generous foamy white head. Aroma is nice and peppery, quite hoppy, peppery yeastiness, nice grassy hop, light citrusy character even, pretty clean. Taste is nice and spicy, nice yeasty spiciness, peppery, with agrassy bitter finish, quite dry. Palate is a bit thin, med carbonation. Good saison, but could be a bit more robust for my taste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ BeerTemple, medium sample. Slight hazy yellow color, medium frothy head. Aroma of spicy yeast, bit peppery, slight grassy hop. Soft bitter taste, bit sweet. We used to call this stuff belgian blonde beers, but now let’s hop on the saison-bandwagon. Decent stuff though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at International Tap House in St. Louis, pours a murky amber with an off white head and lots of lacing in the glass, the aroma is soapy with a good amount of citrus hops at the same time though, flavor has a hoppy front end with a little bit of cereal and earth flavors in the finish, kind of a different mix together, not bad.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy golden with a good head and great lacing on the glass.
The aroma is leafy & earthy with some pepper, some herbal bits, and a nice yeastiness.
The flavor is earthy with a great minerallity. It’s dry and packs a nice bitter punch. It’s got lots of leafy & herbal hops along with some light peppercorn character.
Certainly the sort of Saison I dig.
