Bottle.Pours with a hazed orange hued body with a large and foamy white head. Aromas are floral and phenolic, peppery, melon, estery, black pepper, grassy. Flavors are lightly sour, floral, pepper,y rustic, white pepper, elderflower. Bitter, light lemon verbena. Mildly tart. Fuller carbonation, lighter body. Lasting floral bitterness.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow/brown with full head. Aromas of yeast, pineapple, and white pepper with underlying funky floral notes. Definite floral flavors (can’t say what yarrow and calendula taste like) along with yeast, peaches, and lemons. Nice.

Bottle at yespr. Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. Has a fruity malty spicy aroma with weak bretty hints. Fruity malty spicy citrus flavor with weak yeasty hints. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty citrus finish.

Botella. Hazy yellow colour, big white head. Fruity citrus tart and yeasty like pleasant aroma. Good mouthfeel. Fruity, citrus, tart like, hoppy, bit spice like towards the finish.

750. Pours a light slightly hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is really nice floral spicy, some honey and herbal notes, orange light citrus. Flavor starts sweet with lots of floral notes, slowly giving way to the spice and northwestern hop character into a dry and lightly bitter finish. Medium body and sharp carbonation. Excellent beer

Tasted on 9/30/12 from a capped 750mL bottle picked up in Oregon by unclejedi, thanks to Jim. Pours clear orange with a very thick white head that slowly recedes to smooth, average lace. The nose is spicy saison yeast with some light bread malt, a green hoppy note that I recognize, and a somewhat herbal note that I don’t. The flavor is the same, nice and spicy saison yeast, plenty dry, and the herbal note with a nice touch of sourness on the back end and a hint of white peppercorn. The body is light with sparkling active carbonation and a long spicy yeast and lightly sour finish.

Dry, dusty nose with a touch of grain and herbal hops. Taste is relatively dry, light crisp malt, some light honey, fresh grassy and herbal hops. Very nice.

750mL thanks to brainlair. Pours cloudy bright orange, thicker off white head. Sheen retention, rockier. Nose is beautiful flowers, honey, chamomile. Similar to Stillwater Cellar Door and Southampton Cuvée des Fleurs. Taste is dry, thicker biscuit, very rich with chamomile, mild sweet cream butter, light lactic sourness. Palate is thick, refreshing, fresh biscuit with orange marmalade. Garden herb and cone hop bitterness to balance. Gorgeous stuff.
