COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flora Rustica is a Northwest-style saison that use yarrow and calendula flowers along with a handful of our favorite Oregon grown hops to produce a strongly aromatic beer. Itís very sparking and dry and makes an excellent aperitif as well as an interesting companion for certain foods like herbaceous and bitter salads or strong and fatty fish like mackerel.

Aroma is subtle. Slightly tropical, floral and farmhouse is there. Big pillowy head golden brown. Really tastey and easy drinking. Funky slight pineapple, flowers come through, light hops. Tons of lacing. Sweetness of some malt, hops slightly resinous hits with earthy ness. Great summer Saison.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours murky golden with an attractive off-white head and a sour fruit aroma. There is a rather flat floral and earthy flavor that is slightly sour and creamy. Not effervescent like most saisons. Very unique.

Capped 750 from Belmont Station. Pours hazy apricot with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is strongly but strangely spicy floral. Med body. Very light carbonation. Makes me think of fennel for some reason. Thereís earthy citrus. A very laid back saison. Finishing floral and earthy.

Thanks to americanbrew for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is very nice with a ton of lemon and coriander notes, which are mixed in nicely with some grains of paradise. The flavor has a bit of wheat and biscuit malt, as well as the fruit from the aroma. I get the grains of paradise and lemons, as well as a hint of cherry. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Sweet, fruity, and flowery aromas that are so pleasant in the nosr. Pours golden orange not quite clear with a decent white head. The flavor of delicious citrus notes, yeast, and light tangerines to end on a well balanced body.

Where the Wild Beers Are, 2012. An unusual aroma of flowers with yeast, and also basil and oregano. More yeast in the aroma, mildly sweet. A cloudy orange beer. The flowers work very well.

Now this is nice. First really nice saison Iíve had in a while. Aroma is floral but also yeasty, and a note of sweetness and lemon. Apperance is a bit cloudy with a white head that doesnít linger very long. Taste is sweet/ tart and a backend of bitter and floral. Palate is thin/ dry. Overall this is flavorful and easy drinking. A really nice refreshing saison.

bottle... murky medium gold, lots of copper, nice big bright white head... the aroma is to herbaceous for me, lots of aloe and eucalyptus, honey and floral finish, unique and good but not my thing... the aroma is very different, malty, less bitter flowers, aloe becomes more of an accent, lotion finish... ok but I canít drink much of this
