COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Four is truly a light yet flavorful beer. The recipe uses a good portion of wheat and incorporates a sour mash into the process to make it slightly tart and extra refreshing. It has delicate aromas and flavors that span a range of floral, grassy and herbal notes. The finish is extra dry and makes the beer a great beverage to pair with food, especially various cheeses and shellfish.
Malts: organic pale, organic wheat, organic munich
Unmalted: rolled wheat
Hops: hallertauer mittelfrüh

750mL bottle to pils glass Aroma of lemon, wheat, yeast, and apple. Cloudy yellow with a large bubbly head which reduces quicky. Taste is slightly sour and bitter with reminiscence of grapes. A little creamy with little effervescence.

Bottle at home. Pour is hazy lemon juice with a frothy, long-lasting white head and great lacing. Lemon peel, citrus, herbal, medicinal, grass, biscuit, and floral hops in the aroma. Taste is herbal, floral, yeasty, light pepper, vanilla, citrus, grass, lemon, and straw with a crisp, dry finish. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Seriously tasty beer for such a low ABV, I would love to be able to get this in quantity for hot Summer days. I wish more brewers would do stuff like this.

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden blonde with bone white fluffy head. Nose/taste is slight lactose/sour wheat malt, banana, lemon, light breads and farmhouse/wild yeast. Medium to light/medium body. Slightly dry in the finish with a lemony bread. Excellent table beer. Light and refreshing.

A hazed blonde saison with a thick frothy and lacing white head. In aroma, a nice lemony malt with light wild yeast notes, nice and smooth. IN mouth, a nice smooth sweet fruity malt with light cloves and coriander, quite nice. On tap at brewery, Oct. 5 2012.

From memory.. Light, quaffable ale. Delicate yeast and citrus nuances dominate. Good carbonation, smooth palate. A decent option if you are looking for a saison style beer. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

750mL thanks to BrainLayer. Pours a full hazed straw. Soapy, large foam. Suddy retention. Nose is puppy breath- cleans up after sitting out for a bit. Gains pineapple, lemon, dough. Still some celery and dog. Taste is grassy, lemon soapy, very bubbly with some acrid bitterness. Not quite complete. More like a work in progress. Sharp oil, vitamin C, some medicinal sharpness in the palate. Still refreshing, but not close to be being a world class saison. As it warms, more pineapple and white peach throughout. Small tartness, biscuit, lemon, dough. Refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle courtesy of BrainLair. Pale, opaque light orange-yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma of yeast, pepper, and grapefruit. Flavor is peppery and lightly tart. Bitter grassy hop finish. Decent session beer.
