COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Four is truly a light yet flavorful beer. The recipe uses a good portion of wheat and incorporates a sour mash into the process to make it slightly tart and extra refreshing. It has delicate aromas and flavors that span a range of floral, grassy and herbal notes. The finish is extra dry and makes the beer a great beverage to pair with food, especially various cheeses and shellfish.
Malts: organic pale, organic wheat, organic munich
Unmalted: rolled wheat
Hops: hallertauer mittelfrüh

A very nice light beer, a little tart towards the finish, herbal and floral notes really dominate, but sometimes tastes a bit like a lager.

750ml bottle pours a lightly hazy gold with lots of frothy white head. Nose has an interesting mix of pilsener malt, grass and herbs, lemon, soapy, straw, some perfume. Flavor has a bit more sweetness, malty but honey too, grassy, wheat, perfume, lemon, mild pepper, some chalky notes. Finishes fairly watery.

Bottle. Pours light yellow, with a rocky head. Aroma is yeast, with oak and lemony citrus. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart with yeast, citrus and notes of peach, giving a lingering tart finish.

Bottle. Pours bright gold with a frothy head that lingers. Smells amazing. A bit of floral. Refreshing and easy to drink with a bit of a tart after taste that quickly dissappears.

Bottle pours yellow with big white fluffy head. Aroma is light bread and yeast spices. Taste is light and crisp malt with a nice light Belgian spice and slight tart and dry finish, love this

This tastes more like a wit bier. It doesn’t have that "detached" bitterness that many Saisons or Farmhouse ales display at the finish. Lemony, coriander notes. Remarkably clean and an almost slick mouthfeel accentuate this light yet flavorful brew.

On tap at the Knick. Mild funky nose, a little tart, with orange blossom, lactic acid, and some barnyard funk. Mild hazy light yellow-amber with creamy white lacing head. Medium body with medium-light carbonation. Very mild saison. Some coriander and wheat. Not very strong flavors but very pleasant. Watery finish and after, refreshing.

(Tap) astringent and funky. But it’s still pretty refreshing even though I don’t like it much.

Bottle: Semi-clear golden body with bubble streams rising all around, leading up to a huge, volatile, chunky eggshell cap. Aroma packed with light florals, faint toffee, characteristic Belgian yeast, bread, a hint of spices that are hard to discern (might just be from the yeast), hay, & a moderate farmhouse twinge. Zesty, grassy flavor with a nice bite of mildly bitter flower stems & leaves. More dry hay, leading way to that farmhouse dryness in the finish. Pale malts abound, not getting the mild toffee I was picking up on the nose. Bread, yeast, & earthy leaves in the finish. Dry, thin, effervescent body. A nice saison.

Love this one. Hazy golden-yellow with a smaller foamy white head. Aroma is sour, slight pepper, dry grains, lemon. Flavor is great, lemons, sourness, slight pepper, sweet fruit notesin the middle. Palate is medium, with average carbonation and loads of heat. Awesome.
