3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750mL thanks to BrainLayer. Pours a full hazed straw. Soapy, large foam. Suddy retention. Nose is puppy breath- cleans up after sitting out for a bit. Gains pineapple, lemon, dough. Still some celery and dog. Taste is grassy, lemon soapy, very bubbly with some acrid bitterness. Not quite complete. More like a work in progress. Sharp oil, vitamin C, some medicinal sharpness in the palate. Still refreshing, but not close to be being a world class saison. As it warms, more pineapple and white peach throughout. Small tartness, biscuit, lemon, dough. Refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours hazy deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is full with grains, honey, lemon acidity and herb-y spices as well as bits of wheat and yeast. The taste is effervescent across the palate punctuating notes like yeasty spices, lemon, graininess, herbaliness, mild tartness too, wheat and a thin layer of yeastiness. Darn tasty stuff.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: APR 21, 2010 courtesy of googzoid.
Pours hazy golden straw, thin white head.
Aroma nice saison yeast, wheat, pale malts and wodnerful citrus.
Flavors, very light palate, silky wheat, mild bitterness, fizzy carbonation, herbal/lemon, grassy mouthfeel. Wonderful yeast finish.
Bottle refers to the beer as ’bière de table’ which is a better description than a saison. Reminded me a lot of the light beer my parents would let us have at dinner when we were kids.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
April 26, 2011 - 750ml bottle at Volo shared with blankboy. Hazy amber-gold with a diminishing creamy/frothy white head. Dry aroma, very fruity, pungently tart apricot, with some green oak tannin. Taste is a perfect balance of lush mostly ripe fruit and sourness - not OTT sourness, just enough to balance the malt - not much alcohol - really appealing - perfect for a light bodied tart fruit beer, solid carbonation, light acidity, a stinging not grabby finish - so nice.
