COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Four is truly a light yet flavorful beer. The recipe uses a good portion of wheat and incorporates a sour mash into the process to make it slightly tart and extra refreshing. It has delicate aromas and flavors that span a range of floral, grassy and herbal notes. The finish is extra dry and makes the beer a great beverage to pair with food, especially various cheeses and shellfish.
Malts: organic pale, organic wheat, organic munich
Unmalted: rolled wheat
Hops: hallertauer mittelfrüh

One of my favorite saisons from these guys! Thanks chuckles! Hazy straw gold pour with a fluffy white head and moderate lace. Aroma is lemongrass, hay and a slight twist of lacto. Wish I would have saved this one to drink in the sweltering NC summer heat. Lemons, straw, wheat and some floral notes. Dry tart and refreshing

750 ml bottle shared by foppa78- thanks, Mat! Pours a hazy yellow color with a big white head. Notes of lemon, bread, funk, cheese, cereal grains, grass, and herbs. Light-medium bodied, with a tart, funky, bready mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Really nice beer.

RBAG - Bottle thanks to Sid? Cid? Syd? Cydd? I’m gonna go with Cydd. Seems the most likely spelling. Pours hazy greenish-orange. Thin white head, with ropey lacing. Nose is funky, sweaty, and has some light noble hop notes. Very bright and sprity on the nose. Flavours of soft acid, green apples, earthy tropical fruit. Tart and bright. We need more funky Saisons under 5%!

Bottle from a trade with 5000. Pours cloudy straw color with white head. Grassy, floral hop aroma with doughy yeast. Wheat is apparent in the flavor. Grassy and bready with a sllight tartness. A little dry. Light body with moderate carbonation. I could drink this all day long. Thanks Andre.

Bottle:   Dirty straw, a little orange and peach hued, large frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Has a zesty floral barnish like nose, slight flora and candied citrus peel.   Moderate to strong spiciness on the tongue, wheaty towards the back, bubbley, with flavors of horse blanket, barn, sweet straw, and a good dose of floralness.   Not as mealy as most other Americans, which I am happy to say.   Its also more floral than most.   So far I have been fairly pleased with offerings from this brewery.   Finishes with a good dose of floral wheatiness.   Spritzy to start, but quickly fizzles, but thats okay.   Mmmm...

Draft @ brewery; clear pale yellow with trace white head; aromas of fruity yeast and dry wheat malts; very light mouthfeel and simple flavor profile: a little honey in there; drinks light, fresh and smooth; dry finish with mild clean fruit flavors; orange maybe; has a nice dry herbal quality to it as well

A quickly dissipating beige head fades to a sudsy film above a translucent orange butterscotch. The nose is quite bright for such an earthy brew, notes of cereal grain, barnyard, floral hops, sharp lemon citrus, spruce and leather come to mind. The flavor brings way more spruce to the table, as well as clove and herbal hops. The delicate barnyard funk balances this hoppy NW saison and all it’s doughiness. The palate is sharply carbonated with a thin to medium body and a long, citric, clovey and leathery finish. This is surely a better than average saison.
